And if he is then Sheens, Pascoe, and the entire board need to go. The plan was questionable but may have worked. If they scrapped the plan after 6 months and just let an unqualified person run the club then such extreme levels of incompetence cannot be tolerated. Benji coaching NRL is the equivalent of 17 years olds making up our entire NRL line-up. The players aren't ready for it, and until they demonstrate that they are they have to work away through the grades, same applies to Benji. No one gets a golden ticket
They were desperate, and you may be right but no one wanted to come here and coach. Benji has been given the reins and is learning under one of the greatest NRL coaches of all time, it may become a disaster but I actually think come 2025 Benji will kill it, he just doesn't need to be dealing with the vultures in the media whilst also learning the trade.

This explains why we put our youngsters on development deals/top 30 contracts. To keep them away from other clubs. Makes sense as it is about the only thing we can offer them at present.
We're proactive and attempting to retain them for the long term. While some may not be happy with this, imagine if the club did nothing and allowed them to be poached.

360 should get Simpkins father on so he can tell everyone what is going on behind the scenes. Why is it a "shit show", what is going on behind the scenes that we aren't aware of.

We can go on about how Simpkin won't reach the peak or how embarrassing it is for a parent to berate the club on social media but I think a lot of the frustration is more around how WT are maybe releasing these guys. With the poor culture ingrained in the club and sub-standard management, I wouldn't be surprised if there is very little care in kicking a player to the kerb once they no longer fit into plans...

That is not true because according to the man in the silly hat we had 16 or 17 applicants for the coaching position after Madge was sacked, however the man who made the decisions decided they were not good for the job so we end up with a man in his 70's who has won 3 games from 17.
I wonder why we are a laughing stock?

True and judging by most of our past decisions we regret it the moment they have gone (Joffa is the perfect example)

It’s not the same in context. 17 year olds physically may not be up for competing together against harden men, mentally Benji may not be up to it yet but spending all week preparing a team with limited coaching experience but 300 games of playing experience is a lot different to having a team full of players with 0 game experience.
