He is a grub.Pooper pooped on us again tonight.
Yeah??Pooper pooped on us again tonight.
The usual.Yeah??
The black population of South Africa is about 7 times the white population and their first love is soccer !I must have missed South Africa being a footballing (soccer) powerhouse
But im also assuming you mean South America.
He spends time rent free in your head. Let him go!The usual.
How can we sign Sullivan for 3 years, he's only played 30 games blah blah blah.
He needs new material though, he used the "desperate clubs do desperate things" line again
If Sullivan does sign it will be knowing he will be given a chance to be the game controlling 7 he wants to be, but also knowing we will have someone else ready to take his place if he doesn’t get the job done.Hoops and Braith are right
We need an organizing 7
Fainu and sullivan are flashy 6s
Who’s our 7?
Sezer?
Then why do we need Fainu and sullivan on $500k each?
None of them are a 7.
Tigers Fck up coming up again
Plus my cousins sponsor the dragons - said sullivan has bad hammys… and he’s a bludger happy he’s leaving lol

Also the insurance of him being able to step in at 6 if our 18y.o recruit in Fainu is not ready to be a regular NRL starting player straight away.
IMO There IS an high element of desperation in our recruitment which is why we grab at players who show even the slightest interest. Plus get rid of others who some clubs may want.So the imbecile Hooper thinks we paid too much for the Fainu brothers.
Both have been elite players progressing through the grades and both this season have been highly dominant as an 18y.o and 19y.o playing NSW Cup.
Highly likely they will both become better than average NRL players at the very least, money well spent.
Now he’s stating we are desperate by wanting to sign Jayden Sullivan. He’s another that starred coming through the grades and has since shown glimpses of his ability at NRL level.
I don’t think Wests Tigers have labelled him as an out and out controlling 7 or more of an instinctive ball running 6, but he would be a more than handy acquisition either way.
Does this idiot not realise we will be signing a more experienced game controlling 7 either way, whether that be Aidan Sezer or somebody else.

The answer is not Wests Tigers. For them. For the forum. Thanks Tom. I think something has to give at the Cowboys too with Dearden warranting a larger contract, Clifford reportedly returning next season & Duffy their future half.

I’m still trying to work how many pubs Gus has given away coz he seems to talk to just about every available player, every fricken day.
We have just got to try and overcome this negative vibe around us but at the moment it’s a vicious circle( pardon the pun).
We play and lose, so our desirability goes down so we can’t recruit, this makes us even weaker and we keep losing.
Maybe we need to improve the cattle we’ve got , start to win a few games and the circle breaks.
But I’m sure our highly skilled coaching team are working on that every day, but why does it so often look like our players train in isolation ?
Is there anyone out there who could remould our existing squad ????! Please call .
It just shows there is an agenda towards Tigers as they mentioned Sullivan meeting with Knights but not once did they say anything about this, or even mention it was a bad signing. If we signed Jack Cogger for 3 years like knights did, we would be slaughtered buy them yet it's a good signing for anyone else. The usual.

It really is getting out of control from this So-called MAJOR sponsor of the game by TV rights. It is just gutter journalism and you don't see this in AFL or other codes from them. Maybe the NRL need to address this in the next TV deal as fans are just sick of it.
Once again great stats but your jumping to conclusions. This is simply factually incorrect.
First photo below shows a fairly obvious trend that the further down the field you play the ball the more likely you are to score a point. In the NRL between 2016-2021 teams scored 0.3 points per play the ball inside the 10m line compared to 0.04 points per play the ball in midfield. Only when you get inside the 20m can you expect to score 0.1 or more points per play the ball and it exponentially increase from their. You are 700% more likely to produce a point from 10m out to 50m out. Teams do not score more from midfield breaks, fact.
2nd graph shows a heat map of play the balls resulting in tries form 2016-2021 where green is high and red is low. The map shows the significantly largest proportion of tries are scored in the 20m line and an even larger majority 10m out and usually middle of the field.
Field position is king. We have field position but we have below average backs unable to meet NRL standards in point production. Imo we have two decent prospects in Bula and Tupou and literally no one else is NRL standard in our backline. I genuinely don't think we have had a NRL standard half or centre in half a decade.
I really wish we lived in a world in which people would consider their positions before sprouting off opinions and calling them facts. This forum can be the Dunning-Kruger effect in full flight most of the time.

Video Ref in example.Basically they think the media controls the game which is why he is so deranged against newton.
Players union doing good work bringing them down an inch but realistically they can do what ever they want
But aren’t the forwards more a means to an end, rather than an end in themselves.Once again great stats but your jumping to conclusions.
Our backs are rubbish. No arguments there.
As you stated as fact majority of the points scored are from 10 meters out and in the middle of the field.
Who scores them by chance? The backs?
I know that simply a game is won and losses by points scored and conceded but it’s not a matter of out scoring a team to win the game as Tim believes. It’s about wearing down the opposition, giving them nothing and gaining everything. The best sides are still the best defensive sides. Do you have a stat to dispute that?
Our forwards are an improvement on last year. But as Earl mentioned we still expect more. Is that wrong to want?
Imbeciles are never right. The answer is not Wests Tigers. For them. For the forum.
