This guy has become the number 1 problem at the club.
His ego has no bounds and it is to the detriment of WT.

Don't know what the extent was of the 3rd party deals, but I did hear the club had gone to Harry in the past to help (Impression I got was that he did).
Aside from that though, don't know that Harry had ever been a super-fan like uncle Nick at the chooks
Amongst all of this, Lee comes off like a try hard.
He's got the most unapproachable demeanour in those settings (Chairman's lounge) and when he talks, he thinks he Churchill.
Has zero charisma and doesn't know how to taper his speech to his audience. Unlike uncle Nick, I very much doubt there'd be many players that would be inspired by him.
And don't get me started on that stupid hat he wears indoors FFS.

I find the people with the Lee fixation would be very controlling people it has become very personal.
Ultimately, tho, it comes to winning and losing let's focus on that and not the individual.

My interest are wests tigers winning games.
I’ll hammer anything that I think ( in my opinion Mr. Lee) is getting in the way of that.
Pascoe, Hat, Magpies board members, Benny, blocker, whatever I don’t give a shit.
For once I can agree with you, any true fan simply wants Wests Tigers to win many more games and become a successful team such as from 2005-2012.
I am curious to know how soon and how much of an improvement you honestly believe it would make from the moment LH and JP both stepped aside ?
I ask as I honestly cannot see how there would be any improvement anytime soon after if happened as I keep saying, they have little to no influence on recruitment and retention.
Others point out they employ the coaches and recruitment managers.
I’ve asked this same question many times, but what recent coaches employed can anyone honestly say was a terrible decision and we had better options ? Keeping in mind the jury is still out on Benji who I believe will be a great coach given time to develop and mould a top 30 he is happy with.
If we need to blame someone for our current dire situation it should be Ivan Cleary.
What he done to us is the equivalent of getting rid of Dylan Edwards, Nathan Cleary and James Fisher-Harris from the Panthers because they take up too much of their Salary Cap.

You can't count interim coaches, that is ridiculous. Kimmorley and Webster were interims.
I'm not saying it's great, it's just not the numbers you gave.

I'm told, and I don't know if it's true, that Harry T offered to buy out the club a decade or more ago, but the deal was everything would have to have been done his way - i.e. total private ownership, like another one of his businesses.
He was politely told no.
That same conversation I was told the CEO would go cap-in-hand to Harry each year to ask for the annual sponsorship, and I wasn't sure if that was true, until I saw Pascoe do it on the documentary.
With the sponsorship, he always told Tigers that he didn't need his products on the jersey, but if they couldn't find anyone else, he'd always be there as a sponsorship backup. He said that in public. He'd also tipped in money to specific TPAs as directed by management - that's another statement he made publicly.

Too much going on in that post and honestly I feel this is just going in circles.
One point though, how long will it take to rebuild after the two are gone? Who knows. Years? Maybe never? But it has to start somewhere and todays as good as any. Sunk cost fallacy.

Thanks for the reply, my impression was that you might be close enough to the club to have a bit of an idea of the current relationship with Harry, which I suspect isn't all that great.
Totally agree with you about missing a massive opportunity.

But you are also unsure if on field results would be any better if they were gone.
This is the whole point, nobody is anywhere near certain if the Wests Tigers can quickly obtain much better on field results without them, so why are so many wasting energy worrying about management issues that are out of our control.
