Lee & JP finally lose the confidence of the Board??

Well to be honest if you were just hoping to launch a process whereby an independent review was commissioned you should have declined to impart your views to the reviewers.

Otherwise it can be seen you were using it as a platform to promote your views which will differ in many respects to petitioners and non petitioners.

Cochise already had established relations with
both Lee & Justin. Would have been hard to start
the petition knowing it could jeopardise things,
and that it would bring about negative articles
& backlash from folks in/outside of the club...
No nefarious intentions here. This is all borne
straight out of the love for the club & wanting
to see some positive change(s). Just my opinion

Mate you must give Cochise alot of pull if you are so concerned that any thing he believes/ views about the club is going to directly impact on the findings.
The evidence of a poorly run organisaton is evident by the results and the perception the club has within the NRL community. Their are numerous embarrassing decisions that implicate that the leaders of the club have no clue how to lead/compete/ manage successfully in a professional competition - while feathering their own nests - and there is nothing to demonstrate after numerous seasons that they are getting it right - regardless of any thing Cochise believes as an individual.

I do want to say this process has actually been fairly hard for me. I have had a bit to do with people involved in the club and have always had good relationship with the club. I love the club and have found it difficult being offside with the club.

I hate negativity around the club and the articles the last couple of days have made me feel sick knowing that I am partially responsible for them through the petition. I still believe that it was the right thing to do and would do it again but I don't enjoy it and have nothing to gain from this other than hopefully eventually having a winning football team to support.

Are the petitioners and perhaps the sponsors of some petitioners of those involved?
Are you seriously questioning why they would want to interview the guy who is always respectful, orchestrated the petition, runs a forum and participates in a podcast that puts out a few podcasts a week rather than a bloke who just sits back and bitches at people on a forum?

I appreciate your sentiments - but getting too close to this blaxing dumpster fire of a front ofice was your biggest mistake!!

Maybe learn to NEVER be a Cheerleader for the suits charged to run a declining club - and instead objectively survey how the best clubs operate and advocate greater accountability and quality for our UNITED club!!

Playing favourites is toxic!!

This process can hopefully be cathartic in the longer term

I wouldn't say I was playing favourites but you are entitled to that opinion. I did have a working relationship with the club through running the Ambush events. When I did have issues with them while working with them, and believe me there were issues, I raised them directly with the club. Part of what we were trying to do was help improve the club, especially around its relationship with fans.

When it became apparent that we could no longer support the direction of the club I contacted Justin Pascoe directly and told him that.

You can possibly argue that we should have come to that decision earlier but we were raising our issues directly to the club.

No I don't.

But he advocated a petition with no preconditions but seems to have strong views on changes which he imparted to the reviewers.

Not what he advertised to people signing up.

I totally respect that mate!

Not trying to prosleytyze at all - but it was apparent long ago that the change needed could not be achieved from within

Justin and Lee literally fall back on the "how could we have changed the result today/yesterday" defence while ignoring the systemic rot that has set in under their watch!

Everyone has different views including people who signed.

Why was his considered and not other's.
