Gareth Ellis was not "mid performance" when he came here,in tests against Australia he was the best forward on the field despite the score and that was before he arrived.

True, Ellis was a strong forward and one of the best in the world at the time. Yet he had no record for try scoring and catching passes.
Sheens brought that to his game.

It's that which we should be recruiting for. "Hey here is a player that can tackle and can sidestep. Benji thinks he can teach him how to offload". Not someone we need to teach EVERYTHING too but someone who is missing a piece our coaching team goes "we know what to do here".

I lost a lot of respect for him when we played Newcastle at LO this year. Was having an absolute stinker of a game made an error & instead of owning it faked a cramp then Gamble started sledging him & he made a miraculous recovery to try fight the guy.

AD is bog average. He's slow, timid in defence, has a limited passing game and crabs across field, crowding those outside him. If we can move him on early, surely that's something we can all get behind - whether you're a woke snowflake or a right wing zealot.
