Want the $$ & wants it now.

Can't blame him.

Could be. Or he committed to playing in
2024 with the Panthers but couldn't stand
Ivan's snarky side-eyes and smirks when
he signed with us after being undervalued
in the media & with the money. "Coach,
You broke a contract for better $ too" lol

It could get ugly hey

Re Luai I know that him & Ivan are no longer on speaking terms, it wasn't even Luai who informed Ivan he was leaving it was his agent. Luai feels massively disrespected by Ivan & the whole Penrith organisation particularly by the comments that Ivan had made. Luai feels that he's been a massive part of Penriths onfield & off field success & has played a key role in building that culture that's lead to their current fortunes which they haven't acknowledged.

EDIT: Debunked… not true

One thing about Luai & his character is that he loves proving people wrong, from always missing out on junior rep selections as a young teenager to people questioning the type of person he is (ridiculous that a player gets judged off the field because of how he acts on it) he's always up for a challenge which is why he genuinely wants to come here & lead this team to success. The pay packet is obviously nice but he genuinely wants to come here & make a difference & Benji was crucial in all of this in regards to selling him the vision. He will not be at WT's in 2024 though so we can forget about that.

If he brings that attitude if and when he gets to the club it is precisely what we need and even though he will be getting "overs" he will be worth it.

Skipped training for a second day haha.
what is he doing, wish he would just relax
and stay there for another year. Ivan or
some1 else must have got him completely
offside about something. Somethings up

I don’t like how this is playing out.
I’m Against players forcing their way out from contracts. Hope it isn’t the case for Luai.

If Luai and Ivan aren’t on speaking terms, not sure how he can be there in 2024.

Yeah im not a fan of stone kickers even if it goes our way, i actually think we need a season before he arrives to give the others a fair crack to see who's the best ones to keep. We will lose one at least out of Galvin, Bud and Fainu imo if we get Luai.
