Somehow the signings/rumours thread has turned into a bashing on mods thread. I’ll try change the topic.

I think because everyone is so captivated over what’s going on with Luai no one’s really worried about anything else to want to suggest or discuss other players. Rightfully so, Luai is a big deal. However. If we’re to land Luai we can’t be content we want to build into a grand final winning team long term not just a top 8 ceiling team but we’re making the right moves imo.

I hope the club looks into attacking our glaring weakness within the outside backs. Positive signs are though that we’re pretty stacked in all the other areas pending Luai’s expected arrival when you look closely.

Personally, hope we’re continuing a Penrith raid and with Taylan May off-contract facing an uphill battle to get a spot with the emergence of Turuva, Alamoti, Jesse McLean etc and coming back from an ACL injury and on top of that also expressing interest to team up with his off-contract perfect potential Blore replacement brother in Terrell May. I feel like those 2 could make a really big difference and not break the bank at all. Taylan May would easily be our best winger/centre option at 22, whilst Terrell May/Fonua Pole as impact props coming off the bench would be huge for us. Luai/Api could get in Taylan’s ear and make us a lot more of an attractive option and also the benefit of staying within Western Sydney too.

His brother Tyrone however can stay at home.

I’ve thought about this as well. Was considering a whose next thread as you know, a player like Luai creates a snowball effect.
Looking into premiership teams of the past 20 odd years there is a common theme with their outside backs. They are either young and raw and came up through the pathways or have been recruited to the club young and have become seniors in the side.
Basically there is isn’t a lot of cap money angled towards experienced outside backs in a premiership team.
There could however be evidence of teams in the years prior to winning a prem having an experienced outside back into the club to help shape the young prospects who will eventually take that position.

On that note Taylan is good shout although the knee injury could be a worry and from memory he suffered a hamstring tear late the year prior, plus he boxed..
Issah Tass is another that has youth on his side and has been part of a reasonably successful squad and professional outfit at the bunnies. Xavier Savage or Sebastian Kris depending on who gets the nod for the fullback jersey at Canberra, less experienced could be Zac Laybutt at Cowboys and a smokey is Kristian Mapapalangi from the Knights.

As some have mentioned Latu has the size speed and ability to carve out a career at centre, but is that limiting his potential. Alternatively Galvin could to similarly but I dare say the one certainty at centre would have to be Large when he comes of age at least for the first few years of his first grade career

Large and Makasini the ideal candidates to play in the centres in the next few years, with Large eventually moving to the halves. that said, this is a perfect world scenario and likely won't happen.

You've ALL done an Excellent job in this place improving and maturing into what it is today.

Three, as it turned out, very bad choices as Mods were removed from the Mod ranks a little while ago, with one of them being cold and Manipulative, and believe me, I know manipulative from personal experience, another being manipulative, and the third being power hungry.
The last thing this Forum needs is people that have personality defects like that, as Mods.
So, if any of you 3 are reading this, don't forget, what goes around, eventually comes back to bite you on the a... fellas.

Without you guys this forum would’ve been a big mess, unfortunately you have some members who don’t view this platform as somewhere to have great dialogue/discussions with fellow supporters but more of a way to feel superior on here by bullying or attacking other users. I recommend to all ignoring/blocking those users as I’ve found it way more peaceful on here when doing so.

I hope you guys know your work is appreciated by most on here for helping keep this platform together and allowing us all to continue to post about the team we all love cause without you guys this forum wouldn’t be surviving. People are more quick to bash rather than thank these days.

That’s not true, we have great discussions that are frequently interrupted by “scoops” that set the forum off on tangents.
Often these tangents become dead ends and that’s when we have a bit of fun at the scoop provider’s expense.
Let’s grow thicker skins. We are Rugby League people for gods sakes….

Whilst not perfect,I actually think the previous Mods did a pretty good job overall,and kept a lot of the garbage comments and most particularly the vindictive and inflammatory personal vendettas off the forum which the majority have zero interest in reading!!

I have no issues with either set of mods but I am getting a bit over the pages of back n forth between people. Would be good if that could get nipped in the bud a bit quicker than it is.

I've got to congratulate the current Mods again, for the job they have done this year.
They don't need to baby sit us, so they don't, only intervening when a few posters go too far.
I feel they've reached the sweet spot, in knowing when to take control.
Surely, it's up to You and me and all of us mostly, to sort out "the vindictive and inflammatory personal vendettas" and not read them by using the IGNORE function, and only read the posts and posters you find interesting.

And I wouldn't have thought you would have had enough experience with the prev. Mods to make a statement like that, since you've only been on here since May this year.
