It's not going to stop man. Every Australia day will have this dark cloud over it until it's moved.
I want a proper Australia day back. If that means a simple movement of the date, who cares? It's just a date. Change it to 3rd friday or something so it's always a long weekend - true aussie style.

Hey bp,Im a person who was born here,a son of immigrants after WW2..my parents contributed toward becoming Aust citizens working on the railway . I have much love for all Australians,young old ,black,white or whatever..the only thing I really question is that we owe the indigenous because somehow we invaded THEIR SO CALLED LAND,I happen to seek prove that they were here before other nations because I have read that other people's were on this land 20000 years prior to the Aboriginal people,one example is they found not just cave paintings that the indigenous people claim that they are theirs.some Egyptian hyroglifics have also been found ..I say this because thousands if not millions of years ago the continents were all one land that split over the millinium to where they are now..I suppose we only know what we have been taught ...We really need to get over this we owe them and stop the divide,because after all we are one nation trying to help and love each other as best we can..
