PFL has some good stars on their roster.Doing Stan sport for PFL, think it’s got legs if Danna slips
Says the bloke who doesnt know the history of the UFC
Mixed.......and the U stands for Ultimate no? Are you saying that it wouldnt be MIXED martial arts if it didnt have timed rounds? What’s the M in MMA stand for?
I’m guessing the U in UFC must be your first name cause you get so upset it dosnt do exactly what you want
Sounds pretty sore....Not sore at all lol, when someone says something like
Dude...no one is going to take your UFC away, you can still wear your TapOut t shirts to the pub on a Sunday.
I know im dealing with an uneducated casual an I tap out.
Without question.......PFL has some good stars on their roster.
Noticed Kayla Harrison will be fighting Holly at UFC 300 though.
I stand by UFC is the #1 competition though.

Who would be the ultimate fighter?
Never said anything different.......your point? Surely if they didnt have rounds, we would determine the Ultimate fighter regardless of discipline? or do certain disciplines need a rest every 5mins?Ahh I see your confusion now lol. So listen, when they say mixed martial arts, they don’t mean two fighters of one but different discipline fight. It means a single fighter has a mixed ( meaning they trained in more than one discipline ) martial. Happy to clear that up for ya.
King Ryan.No way Cormier wins without rounds. Great fighter though.
if they did it now......

Massive PED junkie ( would put him in good company in UFC) and GOAT of the trolls. Will never fight MMA in 5 minute rounds, which is kinda the whole point.King Ryan.
What a guy....
Has had a few health issues of late.
And he loves PEDs.
Love to see him in an MMA fight.
He's good value, I like him.Massive PED junkie ( would put him in good company in UFC) and GOAT of the trolls. Will never fight MMA in 5 minute rounds, which is kinda the whole point.

This is my problem with UFC and this part of the sport. When do we see the next Wonderboy or GSP, god forbid a Gracie, an elite at something. They are all becoming very samish. Great fighters, very tough but losing that element.UFC is expanding and I believe in the right direction... hopefully the stars keep presenting themselves. We've got new guys about to break out like Bo Nickal, Jack Della Maddalena and we'll see how this guy who's fighting Volk goes.... and then the next generations coming through who have been legitimately training MMA, all aspects since young. I think the future is bright.

Love to see him, against a top tier wrestler.
But yeah, we won't see him out of BJJ, I'd say.
Maybe....the Dagestanis are good, again IMO because they have stayed true to what they excel at. Gets back to the point I was making with oily. In the heavyweights, they are mostly strikers because as the weight/power increases in humans, the capacity to not get knocked out doesnt. The current best MMA fighter in the UFC is by far Jon Jones.
I think HW is probably the worst division currently. There isnt a wrestler in the world that could match it with Ryan or any top tier BJJ, it is the difference between wrestling and BJJ. Not saying BJJ is better, thye are just different sports and once it hits the ground the BJJ guy wins and no one gets close to Ryan.
you would need an elite striker to beat Ryan and it would need to be early because Ryan excels at managing distance. IMO Muay Thai is the premium striking art to counter BJJ because of the capacity to match or beat BJJ in managing distance.
Agreed, but he is singlehandedly monetising BJJ. Bringing it into the marketplace and making it an event. I love, train and compete BJJ but the first to acknowledge that unless you fight, its a boring sport to watch. Ryan has managed to bring money into the sport with the UFC including his fights as PPV.

HW is always the worst division unless you like watching massive blokes punching each other in the head. Too big to adequately excel in other disciplines with Fedor & Cro Cop and maybe Bones exceptionsI think HW is probably the worst division currently.
The Dagestanis are great, indeed.
Love the pressure they can dish out with the wrestling.
The wrestling took out a legit BJJ threat when we saw Islam VS Oliveira.
