Early tip for round 2... Seyfarth will be our starting 13. Heighno & Robbie love him & Benji trying to mould him into a Yeo type.
I'd say much of Doueihi's current wage has already been re-allocated to Luai's contract. I doubt there is that much left over to play with.I'd imagine the club would be looking to upgrade a few contracts such as Pole.

I might have to patrol the garden to keep thieves and members of other clubs away.
Set the cat on them and as they laugh, pull out my trusty blood stained axe from behind the red bin.
Working from home for this, it better be good.
The gap between Seyfarth and Yeo is the length of the Flemington straight I’m afraid. Kind of like throwing Wakeham the 6 jumper and trying to mould him into Cam Munster.
If he was playing wheelchair footy I’d be satisfied.Doueihi's upper body is looking fit .. View attachment 9936

I did think this was a possibility with Pole rumoured to be moving into the impact role. Seyfarth is a high work-rate, high effort type who will ensure we don't rush Laulili'i, and to a lesser extent Matamua and Fa'agutu.Early tip for round 2... Seyfarth will be our starting 13. I want to see his teeth.A photo of his knees would be far more revealing as to his state of health

There's really no harm giving him a chance, I think pole provides more impact as a bench foward. There's like 3 juniors that have a mortgage on the 13 jersey, may as well try and strike gold in the meantime. Said it before reckon seyfarth is the type of player that improves marginally every year until his body gives up. He will leave everything out on the field and if you put some time in with him you will get a very solid first grader. How do we know though? Seyfarth has never been given the opportunity to play this role. IMO Yeo is wildly overrated. Eisenhuth filled in for Yeo and played his role just as well as Yeo does.
I think Seyfarth will surprise a few as a 13. His ball playing is very good, he is super fit and doesn't miss tackles. Efforts off the ball are great too. Needs to improve his go forward of course, we all agree on that.
Keeping it warm for Galvin I reckon - still think he's our future 13 with his size and ball playing ability/vision. I'd prefer him in the middle at 13 than on the edge personally as I'd like him as a first receiver similar to Yeo getting it straight from Api and depending on what side either Fainu and Luai being at 2nd receiver I think it could be dangerous moving forward. Bula roaming around too won't hurt. Would be a pretty good formula.Early tip for round 2... Seyfarth will be our starting 13. Heighno & Robbie love him & Benji trying to mould him into a Yeo type.
His ball playing was even better in NSW Cup last season when given that role. There's really no harm giving him a chance, I think pole provides more impact as a bench foward. What I have seen of his ball playing hasn't been terrible

He's also just a natural footballer so I don't think him making tackles in the middle would effect him as much especially with a lot of cover defense too. You could make the argument it's probably more difficult tackling on the edge than in the middle as plays will be set to have the opposing edge forward 1 on 1 with the halfback quite often. Brooks to his credit was actually quite good in that regard. He's also 18 so wouldn't be too difficult molding him into that type of player.
Might be unpopular but I also don't see the hype in Seyfarth - he has played a lot more bad games than he has good. He probably gives it 110% in training and is likeable around the squad which I respect. However, in terms of what he has shown in the 50 NRL games he has played maybe 4-5 games where he has been solid. I hope I'm proven wrong and he's a regular first grader as I’m not rooting against him but at this point I don't see it. Especially if we have top 8 aspirations.
Kind of annoyed me that we made room in our squad for Seyfarth but not Blore. Time will tell if it’s the right decision or not like you i’m obviously rooting for the guy but he’s spent a few years in first grade now & just hasn’t shown what it takes to be a mainstay at this level imoMight be unpopular but I also don't see the hype in Seyfarth - he has played a lot more bad games than he has good. Seyfarth's never been unfit or overweight! He looks to have trimmed down abit.
If he plays like he did for the 4-6 week stint last year then all for it even more so if it means Pole goes back to prop (his best position IMO).
