Also Joey was on the KFC diet, Doueihi keeps himself fit.Difference being Joey was playing all the way through and AD has missed most of that time through injury… no comparison.
Also known as Sydney. 😉Brilliant

Tom had one of the best nicknamesNot correct. Null was Tom's brother.
Why? If we play him in the halves, he doesn't need to tackle!Doueihi is done here. Next.
No mate, seriously I have had enough of it,, it takes up at least 10-30 secs an hour on each thread whenever you do it and it’s time to call it out.. you need to be better, try harder. No more rumours on the rumours thread, ok ? 👌Mate, who cares. Seriously.
Now it all makes sense…Makes me wonder if it’s specified in contracts that certain players don’t have to tackle.
We recently unloaded a fatty in Atasi James …. Maybe we need to keep the club’s Nutritionist busy. This will be a big test for him in regards to his attitude for his future as a player, hopefully he knuckles down and is doing what the coaches would be telling him
Asitasi James looked like he was quite fit for a big man ?We recently unloaded a fatty in Atasi James …. Maybe we need to keep the club’s Nutritionist busy.
Interesting story. There have been fullbacks in the past that have taken that attitude.
When I was a boy our next door neighbor (Mick) was a mad rugby league fan who regularly attended matches from the mid 1930s to the mid 1980s. He was a mine of information about the history of the game.
He told me he was at the SCG to watch a match between Souths v Canterbury, when one of Canterbury's big front row forwards burst through the line and charged downfield.
Clive Churchill stepped aside and let him score. Mick reckons that when Churchill was quizzed by the press about it after the match, Churchill said that it wasn't his job to tackle prop forwards.
Personally I think we stack up quite well in comparison to other NRL clubs with our front row rotation of Klemmer, Utoikamanu, Twal, Pole, Samuela Fainu and Seyfarth. The team needs big players that strike fear into the opposition.
Klem needs a partner up fronts, Hope Stefano finds his agro....
I think a big focus for Jordan Miller this year is to work hard getting his body right, working hard in the gym on his strength & power, and working VERY, VERY hard on his fitness both aerobic & match conditioning.Asitasi James looked like he was quite fit for a big man ?
I still don’t know why we didn’t keep him, big, strong, aggressive, hard running props are very valuable, let’s hope the likes of Josh Finau and Nick Lui-Toso prove to be capable replacements.
Young Jordan Miller who is top 30 contracted to us looks to need a lot of work fitness wise and needs a lot of work with his lateral movement when defending. I can understand why the club put him on a top 30 contract based on his size, destructive ball running and potential, let’s hope he puts in the hard work to repay the faith,
You're a good egg NeddyNow it all makes sense…
Beggars belief how someone with that outlook occupies a top 30 spot. Gus would find a way to change that I reckon.I think a big focus for Jordan Miller this year is to work hard getting his body right, working hard in the gym on his strength & power, and working VERY, VERY hard on his fitness both aerobic & match conditioning.
I'd say SG Ball will be his focus until that season finishes then a move up to Jersey Flegg. Won't be anywhere near ready for anything higher.
Hopefully injury-free into the next pre-season and then we'll see him make his mark against open aged players in '25.
Wonder if he’s following the Jordan Mailata career closely? Men that size are useful in American football.Bit worried about Miller... blokes apparently 130kg which is way too heavy & looked really poor in the SG ball game on the weekend where he got sin binned

Agree. Hopefully Richo can change that about the club. Good start signing some respected senior players the last few years which should make it easier to sell the vision. We have a long history of promoting / relying on kids too early just to keep them...
And them not going onto much with one of the reasons being, It was handed to them on a platter and they didn't earn it.
While we let the kids with character that would be happy to earn it - Walk...
It just never changes...
I'd be shocked if there's a side with more kids in their top 30 this year than us.
IMHO, Twal and Seyfarth mentioned with "forwards striking fear in the opposition" is "contradictio in adjecto".Personally I think we stack up quite well in comparison to other NRL clubs with our front row rotation of Klemmer, Utoikamanu, Twal, Pole, Samuela Fainu and Seyfarth.
My concern is if we get one or two injuries to any of the above named players, do we have anyone else ready to step up and fill the void.
Sione Fainu looks to have made a big improvement to his physical condition, maybe he can be the one.
Here's a reason.Asitasi James looked like he was quite fit for a big man ?
