It seems a whole lot of people don't understand what a trial is.
I've seen more sensible comments on Facebook.
Yeah .. today is the first time that the comments here haven’t been sensible

Tupou?
Bula the main offender, I fear we are paying him about 500k too much, particularly when players such as Tristan Sailor and young Papali’i from the Bulldogs are exceptional talents who will not likely play regular NRL this season.Fundamentally our players don’t understand how to create space, even when we have the numbers. It’s a serious flaw in our development programs in my opinion. A lot of people on here just blame the halves but I’ve seen enough now to know there is an educational issue.
They may not have even been on the field at all. Sezer is a shoe in at 7 but i still think the number 6 is up for grabs. Sullivan looked good when he didn't have to do any game management but fell away when Sezer and Api were off. Will be interesting to see how Fainu goes at 6.Ummm...our halves for THIS year werent on the field for 40mins
Tupou mixed bag. Field positioning and dropped ball sucks, his running with the ball was effective though. Isn’t a winger in my view.
Potentially but the guy who receives it also needs to contribute by running the right angle and positioning his body correctly to take advantage of any space that presents. I see too many guys just running into people. We lack footballers.Latu will help strip numbers. Natural footballer
Yeah, thought Vaihu tried hard after a poor start.
I think Mason will be good but still very young.Yes. Unfortunately, some of the kids touted to be promising don't appear big enough. The two in white headgear looked like garden gnomes.

I can’t agree on that sorry. Kid looks to have natural footballing instincts. Pretty good summary nimo tho I'm not so sure on TDSBula is a big concern, does nothing to help our attack.
Staines didn’t do much, but we are too slow without him in our starting line up.
Faatape went well, should only keep improving.
Lobb carried the ball strongly and attacks the high ball, I like him.
Sullivan and Sezer both looked good, plenty of good early signs from them both.
Mason and Willett both played with good energy and intent, both good prospects. I know Mason made a few mistakes, surely we can forgive that and see he has plenty of upside to his game.
Da Silva looked very good, massive future.
Seyfarth again showed his doubters what he’s capable of.
Stef and Klem both looked great, we don’t lose nothing to any rival starting props.
Papali’i very good early signs.
Api solid as usual.
Keoaoa shaky but looks fit, currently in our best 17 whether we like it or not.
Fainu brothers both showed promise.
Simpkin was solid in his stint at hooker.
Pole was a bit underwhelming, let’s hope for improvement from him next week.
Sukkar has a physical presence about him, just need a bit more effort and involvement.
I think they may as well move him on now …
Yeah he definitely did well, but I didn’t think he was that dominant in his tackles and he was stopped with a few of his runs. His never done a full NRL strength and conditioning program, so he’ll only get better with more strength.I had him in our top 5 or so today.
Definitely want to see more of him in NRL.
Happy to see him and Api in rd 2 when it means something.Shhh quiet you'll wake up Bula... Fair dinkum what a lazy display today
I saw Da Silva doing a heal of tackling and competing on every play, quite often covering for the lazy forwards who were playing alongside him.TDS was found out a heap in defence, lost count how many times the ref kept calling him back.
Lobb and Faatape looked ok.
Willett looked like he was scared of being snapped & got found out for a warriors try - outside of the 1 nice run that is. He is a big kid needs to back his size more.
He really should be hitting the ground running... One season... Needs to back it up he hasn't earnt the right yet to take his timeHappy to see him and Api in rd 2 when it means something.
His defence is well below NRL standard. He played with effort that’s for sure and has a nice step. Defending wise struggled.
