I'm sure we can find a way.Why would he deliberately miss training?
The fact that it seems like a good opinion to some others shows how far the critical thinking levels of this forum has fallen. Why would he deliberately miss training?
That won’t be hard to fix, simply tell him he’s looking at 4 years in reserve grade if he stays or deliberately miss training and get a nice little payout to go elsewhere.
not when his parents are sooking because Galvin’s development has scared them and they think their son should walk into the side as opposed to earning it, and especially after the club had the kid training with the NRL side over preseason and paid for his surgery and rehab after his ankle injury.
there are two sides to every story, Vicious. quite frankly these are people I don’t want at the club if they don’t want to earn their place.
perspective.
That guy is hit and miss, but does generally know more than most about juniors. There is some suggestion by a poster in a NBWT thread on x about Heamasi Makasini that Onitoni maybe on his way out of WT.
Can't keep all of them. With Fainu, Galvin, Da Silva, among other talented juniors coming through some will go. Big loss and wish him all the bestRumour on Twitter that Onitini Large is gone.
Unless he has offers from another club that have him looking to get his noes out of joint at any opportunity....Find it hard to believe that a player who's injured and not even been training, would get so upset about another junior coming in to first grade that he'd just want to walk out on his contract. It's not as if he's been overlooked, he's sitting on the sidelines. He's a year away from competing for first grade so current form is irrelevant to him.
But not the fullback position that he wantsLooks like Panthers now have cap room to retain Turuva
I'm sure we can find a way.
Yeah I follow that person on Twitter too, has some good intel about juniors at both Manly & Tigers. I actually thought he/she must be related to Fulton or close to the family with some of the info at times. That guy is hit and miss, but does generally know more than most about juniors.
He did claim that Haumole would 1000% be at the Tigers, he's also firmly in the Fulton + Pascoe + Lee camp, so may have had some access to knowledge removed.

I'd back Benji to have a few words with him to calm the nerves... It may be that Luai, Galvin and Latu is too much competition for the kid to bear, but who knows what may happen with injuries, form etc. I could see Large becoming a great fullback.
We definitely can't afford to lose him or meekly give him up to another club. He's one of the very few fast juniors we have, Makasini is much more about power than pace, Large is a combo of both.
I doubt he actually cares about playing fullback, just a means to ask for more money. But not the fullback position that he wants
Woh , warriors sign a gun , cowboys grab a dogs young gun forward , and here we sit struggling with a lack of forward muscle, no wonder we find it hard to compete, if u don’t have a mongrel pack u have nothingFisher Harris signing with Warriors from 2025. Wow
That's a massive coup for the Warriors.Fisher Harris signing with Warriors from 2025. Wow
We needa lock up Stef ASAP !!!!Fisher Harris signing with Warriors from 2025. Wow
It’s simple, if someone plays reserve grade for 4 seasons their residual value is not good, where if they head to the UK now they could potentially be on a good contract for the next 7-8 years possibly longer. Why would he deliberately miss training?
We lose him and we will go further backwards, he’s a must’ve-signing and it will probably cost us up around 900k per season, but we have no choice as there are no decent front row replacements on the horizon should we lose him.We needa lock up Stef ASAP !!!!
Yeah, but how is that relevant to him deliberately missing training? Why is he going to do that? It’s simple, if someone plays reserve grade for 4 seasons their residual value is not good, where if they head to the UK now they could potentially be on a good contract for the next 7-8 years possibly longer.
Something has to give as Wests Tigers cannot afford to have the contract t money being paid for Sullivan wasting away in reserve grade.
