IMO, Galvin has played well for a rookie. If Galvin has zero intention on staying, 1 Is preferable IMO. Assuming Latu can get his hammy right he can have a crack for the remainder of the year. Galvin can sit on the bench or play Magpies. Hes been solid but we've lost 9 straight and he is not a walk up starter.
1. Defence has been his biggest asset.
2. Very mobile across the park in attack and looking for runners BUT rarely, if ever, breaks a tackle or steps around a player. He has no side step. Nor electric speed. Zero tries.
Early days with plenty youthful enthusiasm and still on the learning curve.
Best advice, block out the outside noise as best you can and concentrate on improving your game. Listen to your coach, bide you time; and reflect on where you're at the end of the season.
And remember, other clubs looking at you probably think you are destined to be a lock or second row as well and will only tell you so after you have signed up?
And you will be down the pecking order.
