Move them on when you can. Richardson is an experienced hand and this will be part of his re-invigoration of the WTs.

His form was bad before he arrived. A number of people here were cynical about his ability to turn it around. Was cooked then and he's cooked now.

Make sure it is not connected to a bowser.
There is always a saviour that just needs enough time to implement their 5 year plan. Richo is the latest in a long line of invisible or inept administrators.

Got rid of almost whole squad ( kept a handful select few eg Kiraz )
Recruited about a dozen quality players from various clubs
Hire a good coach who had a long apprenticeship
Fire them up and maybe make the finals
Gus seems to know what he's doing

Unlike the other admins though he has done it 3 times before coming to the Tigers. First at the Sharks they made a grand final. Penrith in 03 won the comp and obviously Souths with Madge. Unlike the others he has the runs on the board. He has the experience the weak link imo is Benji who doesn't.

Exactly mate. Seriously i jump on this forum and sometimes just dont know if im seeing a different team play than some. Is there people actually worried we are losing Bateman. I hope they make him as comfortable as they possibly can, id rather us pay for a 5 star hotel whiles hes over there than see him do absolutely nothing except take up wages we could spend on many other players that are better than him. He has zero impact. We have enough of them . Richo is spot on getting these type of players out anyway he can.

the Bulldogs actually turn over about 10 players a year ..and it’s still taken them 3-4 years to move up to a mid table team …
Meanwhile we got 2 new players coming next year …

Nothing happens in July, most players/teams are still thinking about 2024.
No wonder this club is the laughing stock of the nrl . We let big JOE go , no replacement.
We don’t BLORE, trade him for a leg player .
We release PAPA , no replacement.
We let BATEMAN go home , no replacement
And they wonder why stepho and Galvin want to leave
Richo was hailed as our saviour, but at present he is just showing the kids we will get rid of players without getting anyone in , I am sure that will go down well ,
The team they have picked this week is CRAP 💩 , warriors will run up a massive score , can’t believe I still support this rabble , the people who run this farce don’t have any respect for us supporters

I see people saying it’s a smart move because it opens up salary for the rest of the year. Hypothetically that sounds good but surely the NRL wouldn’t be allowing this… what’s to stop a team that can’t make the 8 from loaning their top 5 highest earners to other teams & taking advantage of this by becoming the richest team??

It’s already way too late in the NRL to bring in new players for this year …. Im assuming any money saved can count next year
He needs to play in a winning side ? Yeah i think every player in the comp would play better at a winning club. Why cant he play his bit to make us a winning club. He accepts plenty of money off our club. Im curious what winning club do you think he makes the starting 13 or is going to pay him close to what hes getting here. He needs to go back home but he needs to stay there cause that's his level at best these days. Smh ,We want a winning team but he want to keep the same players. This is the only way Richo turns this club around. Give me a Samuela anyday.

Unlike a lot of others in the team …he isn’t some 18-19 yr old kid … he is a veteran getting paid big money as you say …for his skills and I assume his leadership qualities and leading by example … what a freaking joke …
He is going home mid season which is a long way away to be leading by example …
They are absolutely kidding if they bring him back next year
