The BIGGEST LOSER...

Doueihi is like Nofa - and actively avoids missing tackles by rushing into gaps and not even being close to making contact.

BUT his turnstile tackle for Gagai's break was a true Doueihi master-class in arm grabbing and then standing back watching as the play passes you by...

Douehi is nothing like Nofa,at least Nof is the clubs top try scorer of all time (WT Balmain and Magpies) and did play many good games in his career.Douehi has always been a terrible defender in all positions,certainly he has had 3 ACL's which does not help but he is just not worth persevering with

Was expecting to see him play cup yesterday but some kid was there #19 instead.
Very good under the high ball.

I really doubt we see Tupou in a Tigers jersey again, sadly.

I’m still struggling to cop no signings so far , yes leaks have stopped but you would think if we are signing players who are looking at playing semi final footy well it will shock me but then I see why no mention just yet , but I find it highly unlikely players coming hear will need to be hidden away , Richo needs to Get Pole signed and announce it then if we have signed Tim J. Then announce it , get some positive out there , but we really do need a couple of names declared as new for 2025 pretty quick as we are just looking so bad at present , all negative media , negative results , Players leaving , players wanting out , Richo come on this is just rubbish and I see no improvement at all , leaks stopped is that cause there is no one signed up yet so can’t even drop one signing

For some reason people don't get how important defense is and having players who can hold the line.

It's not just Doueihi or Nofo. It's being able to trust the guys around you and knowing if someone is a little weak, to rush in.

We need a backline, we need a solid backline. Our defense sucks so we can't have any offense.


I still can't believe people wanted Doueihi back. He can't and won't tackle.

Faaletino Tavana was the young fella in yesterday. Played Jersey Flegg this year and has been pretty good there. He is known for his aerial ability in Flegg so it’s good to see it translated in Cup.

Mate i dont think its that easy attracting players, so no announcements i would think, but who knows with this club.

The contact in defence is non existent. A major factor in any defensive systems is trust. Trust is built over time. I am not sure how many times we have rolled out the same left or right edge combinations. Its no excuse but the fact we are constantly changing our centre/ wing combinations really kills off building that trust. I really hope we sign a strong (non tiger’s connection) defensive coach. Its so important they get the staff right for next year as it seemed this year Richo had to roll with the punches.

API made 37 tackles today while playing 20 minutes in the halves.

Bateman, Stefano and Papali'i all leaving and while they've all been underwhelming on different levels, replacing them with juniors who aren't ready for first grade will be a disaster. If you go through our lineup there is about 5 or 6 guys who are not first graders and wouldn't start at any other team. We should just fold
