Front ended sounds like a better idea but in the case of To'o, which is completely speculation we could pay under year 1 & even out in years 2-4. I think if he comes it would be a 4 year deal. Possibly 5 to align with Luai but that's probably not ideal with our potential backs coming though.

As said Richo is making the strategic moves. Very exciting to see what the squad looks like Feb next year.

Latu is one of the best 17 at the club ..so needs a spot somewhere …im not sold on him as a potential 13 but maybe give it a try ..

I'd say Bird takes a spot in the centres as he has done all season with the Dragons. What is our biggest areas of deficiency in defence? Out wide. This is the opportunity to make Doueihi a depth player. Bird plays one side, Olam the other. I think this strengthens the team dramatically in defence. I wonder if Doueihi gets a suggestion to try the wing at his size?

I would say we had every intension of releasing it to members first as per Richo. It most likely got leaked from the Sharks end so they would have been chasing their tails to get it out asap after that.

Bird is a definite risk but i can see some value in him at 13 if his body holds up to it.

Faster forwards that can cover positions are becoming more crucial with the speed of the play these days and added in HIAs requiring versatility.

Wonder how often the Bellamy's etc are thinking IF when they sign someone

I think it's a no brainer, Latu starts 14 next year given
he's healthy to start the season, TDS & Mason to cup

Yep, 100%…I think many of us here, myself included, got emotional at the notion we might lose an up and coming prop like Stefano….for $900k, we can buy 2 very decent forwards…..the reality is Stefano has had an ordinary year for a tier 1 prop….it will be interesting to see his numbers next year…..look at Blore…started on fire down there only to become “average”as the season wore on….
