I guess when it comes to footy players, the legal system subscribe to the “boys will be boys” philosophy. The legal system baffles me.
How's he not in jail?
Idk about footy players but it baffles me that JAC was allowed to drive off with a positive test and that Mam is still not in jail.I guess when it comes to footy players, the legal system subscribe to the “boys will be boys” philosophy.
I just find it funny how the only players who use coke are the ones who get caught while doing something else illegal.Idk about footy players but it baffles me that JAC was allowed to drive off with a positive test and that Mam is still not in jail.
.....and leaving the "scene of the crime?" 😆Also got him for attempted robbery for almost stealing Penriths third straight premiership.
Nothing to do with footy players in both cases!!The legal system baffles me.
How's he not in jail?
Someone has taken their angry pills today. I've said nothing about footballersNothing to do with footy players in both cases!!
Mam is not in jail because the driving offences are not an indictable criminal charge - and if it was he would be released on bail pending a criminal trial that would take 12-18 months before reaching court due to backlogs and lack of capacity!
As for JAC - he would not have normally been allowed to drive away after the intial positive test but the police were diverted to a major incident and F-d up by allowing him to do so!
HOWEVER - when the 2nd test came back positive he was fined $680 and suspended from driving for 3 months like every other first offender.... no court trial or criminal charge!
NOT THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND REALLY!!
Ignorant & immature to think the law works like a Monopoly "go-to-jail" card....
Yep very poor but the nrl has the power to punish , they just won’t do it , Drugs are rife in the NRL. That’s why they don’t have full time random drug tests going around to the clubs training bases , to many players would be suspended , it only gets proper punishment if it was Mr NRL. Wife and kid in that car ,What a fing disgrace he will only face charges of drug driving and driving unlicensed
There are potentially civil actions arising should the allegations be proven in court Note at least one or more of the innocent parties were injured in the accident. Medical expenses, especially long term, can be expensive and overwhelming for families. What a fing disgrace he will only face charges of drug driving and driving unlicensed
So many parasites looking to make money at any opportunityDrugs are rife in society and always have been in some form - and NRL players are not immune from this. What's different these days for players is it's almost impossible to not get caught if you choose to indulge and clearly some are prepared to take the risk.
I mean...He could've just caught an Uber or taxi home.Drugs are rife in society and always have been in some form - and NRL players are not immune from this. What's different these days for players is it's almost impossible to not get caught if you choose to indulge and clearly some are prepared to take the risk.
That is shameful on the government....Loss of license is barely noticeable when you're paid $800k and can uber around the city for a few months. and the fine is a joke.Mam... 6 month loss of license
$850 fine.
No conviction recorded
What a joke
