Alcohol

While it's ultimately none of our business, I came by the opening post again when clicking on this thread and it made me wonder whether @Odessa ended up getting any of the help she needed with booze. Fingers crossed you did, and are managing better these days, this is a safe space . All the best

Raining here in Murrumbateman so no building! Just brewing up a batch of all grain Tooths While Horse Ale from 1917.

Following that I am building a brew out of my "leftover" grains. I'm calling it a "Aussie Pale Ale" using Marris Otter and Pale Crystal Malt as the base ingredients. Plan on adding some cane sugar a little leftover wheat and schooner malts to round it out. Pride of Ringood Hops (it is an Aussie Brew) and some Hallertau Mittelfruh at about the 20 minute mark and as a dry hop to bring add in a bit of German influence (Wife and her family are German).

I put down a Kit and Kilo Ginger Beer and Apple Cider this morning. So going well I will keg them in tow weks, conditions them for tow weeks and hook into them Christmas eve!

Have you been able to incorporate immodium into any of your brews? Might be useful if you have to start work early.

No- haven't had any issues with it over the last umteen years of brewing. I run my own business so no problems if I have to start early - tow of my sons work for me so I just hand it over to them!
