RE Koroisau, I agree. He would have an easier time with the Penrith Youngsters.The role of mentor which was one of his motivations for returning to the Panthers for the second time. He has said the Panthers had such a talented group of players who in his opinion are easier to play with and mould. I don't doubt he has had a similar impact on many of our younger players as he did at the Panthers. Being a mentor extends off the field as well.
Leadership is though a fountain. You double down and invest, that's a massive lesson learned from Cronulla, Easts and other sides. Have a few good leaders and they can not only help your Juniors...
They help your other leaders perform.
We put WAY too much pressure on single leaders, like Tamou and Packer. They couldn't step up by themselves.
I reckon having Luai + Koroisau will be huge. They will feed off each other.
