If you go back and watch the final series in 05 Paul Whatuira was exceptional! Soft hands , putting the ball into space for runners to hit, lovely stepping and solid defence. To me he was the unsung hero of that year. Simply outstandingYea, Paul Whatuira makes a claim. Likewise Blake Aysford has a better case then Naiqama...
I mean Kevie, no beef with you. But you wernt our best Center of all time, even with slimish pickings.
Lachie Galvin wasn’t even born in 2005 was he ?Nostalgia thread. Poor mods. Since I'm here. No Benji. No 2005
Hey Boss (in my case a strange singaporean man living in America)Ask your boss tomorrow.
American based Singaporeans are very well informed on all matters Lachlan Galvin.Hey Boss (in my case a strange singaporean man living in America)
Was Lachlin Galvin born after 2005?
"good question, you should direct that to HR". ... HR gets mighty confused who the hell Lachlin Galvin is. nothing good happens.
Chris did play 5/8 and the player Sheen's keep on mentioning when he spoke about Chris at 5/8 was none other thenDid Sheensy really want to put Lawrence at 5/8?
Look Rowdy was a good center, but he lacked the tricks of say SDK/Jamie Lyon and your game playing centers. Sure he could pull the occasional trick, but he definately was a finisher as a player. Someone who crosses the line.
It was funny too, the instant we get a more traditional halfback in Robert Lui we suddenly go gangbusters...

The great Penrith player BRAD IZZARD
Brad was a powerful running 5/8 center great club man and from memory mite have played 1 or 2 origin games off the bench as a lock centre 5/8
Brad had a knack of knocking over the player in front of him and passing to a faster player had a great fend and a good step could not kick the ball but great on the defensive line
I remember Brad Izzard he spoke about the power runningOne of my favourite players Brad Izzard. I though Sheens mentioned Laurie Daley mostly when talking about Lawrence at 6
I remember Brad Izzard he spoke about the power running
Brad was awesome always gave 100 percent great club man and his brother was a good player as well
Penrith have had some great club man
Who was the front rower who went form Balmain to Penrith great club man as well he hit it up all day could not pass low skills but great defence
Wasnt some joe blow our Brad Clyde as well....and Noa Nadruku...he loved shitty comparisonsOne of my favourite players Brad Izzard. I though Sheens mentioned Laurie Daley mostly when talking about Lawrence at 6
Simon Dwyer was Brad Clyde. Lawrence was the funniest though. Played one good game at 5/8, scored a good try going at at the line and suddenly he was Laurie Daley.Wasnt some joe blow our Brad Clyde as well....and Noa Nadruku...he loved shitty comparisons
Clyde debuted in 88 and made origin 89Bradley Clyde n Adam McDougall basically didn't play a game for their teams for 3 years until representative selection came up ,and both were 1st picked- go figure
the back end of their time in league was weird, not fair to those that put in all year.Clyde debuted in 88 and made origin 89
