Yes, what was also annoying me was that Latu has shown that he has a deceitful slight of hand and an effective show and go once in these attacking zones, whereas Galvin pulverises you over and over again until you make a mistake. It would be hard that you’re trying to get to a position on the field to setup a play c and here’s Galvin playing ad lib footy , and constantly over calling . Because in the end he did have 3 line break assists . The problem is what’s that strike rate . And the frenetic nature of his play was causing huge issues especially when attacking thier line . As that’s the 1 point on the field , where it is a chess match , and structures are hugely important . And that’s the one point on the field yesterday where we were abysmal .
She's the head Physio.I thought one of the major highlights of today was that lovely lady in our coaches box. I’m still not sure what she does but I’m glad she’s there.
I thought they had a dip, made a few silly errors ( highlight no 24 for us, who made about 5 on his own) but apart from that it was fair.
Watching the following game I was interested to hear that Flanagan was going to give his big guns about 30 mins this game and 30 the next.
Has anyone got an update on S. Fainu toe injury ? Saw him hobbling around after the game !
Right. Interesting title !She's the head Physio.
😂🤣Right. Interesting title !
He sure is.I think Warren smith is a tigers fan, isn’t he?
Ah, my bad. Let me recalibrate… Okay, got it. You weren’t saying he’s great, just that he exists. So why reply like I'm saying he is as good as sirro? Your reply indicating I was saying he was great. It made no sense
To add V his downfield kicks had good distance something I hadn't noticed before thought Latu was very quiet.I thought Galvin looked great, very sharp and even more confident than last season which is a great sign.
I must of watched something different in the first half as all I saw was our forwards getting rag dolled and looking like deers in headlights, therefore our dominant playmaker had no option other than to become more heavily involved and try and prompt players to come onto the ball.
If he had not done that, we would have looked much worse.
Under the circumstances with no time or space to play due to the lack of impact from our forwards, it was a miracle he was able to create the attacking opportunities that he did, possibly thanks to Skelton for being our Lone Ranger in making impactful runs.
Had our forwards had a go and been more like they were early in the second half, Galvin would have run riot and brought Latu into the game with him.
Yes and it was still a close game? Reserve grave V reserve grade both were rather equal. Not sure what you’re saying -
They played a reserve grade side…
You’re expecting the reserve graders to not put pressure on the first graders by playing well?
We looked soft for most of today and not up for the battle…

Noted. Carry on.
Latu’s strength is his sharp and powerful running game.To add V his downfield kicks had good distance something I hadn't noticed before thought Latu was very quiet.
Some good points @Vicious but I think they will want to develop him in the halves in Cup to work on his direction, assetiveness etc. But yes I think he would kill it was a left centre too. Hopefully see some time with Luai in the halves in the 2nd trial.Latu’s strength is his sharp and powerful running game.
To allow him opportunities to demonstrate this it requires good go forward and quick play the balls from his team mates, so he’s playing on the front foot, that barely happened while he was on the field, not his fault on my opinion.
In saying that he too looked a lot sharper, stronger and more confident than last season, I can only see a big season coming from him once his team mates do their job.
The more I think about it, the more I think he should also be a starting left centre option if Olam doesn’t get on the park.
You also noticed the lack of big bodies in the team compared to the dogs just bought this up in another thread, centre option worth some thought the news on Olam is disappointing will be looking for plan Bs if he doesn't come good.Latu’s strength is his sharp and powerful running game.

If the rumours about Olam still being hampered & Laulilii concussion are on the money, it will be interesting how we line up and use in various centre/wing positions on Friday night between Turuva, To'a, Doueihi, Naden, Staines & Skelton. You also noticed the lack of big bodies in the team compared to the dogs just bought this up in another thread, centre option worth some thought the news on Olam is disappointing will be looking for plan Bs if he doesn't come good.
If the team needs him their mate that's where he should stand up and play if we get desperate for a centre. Some good points @Vicious but I think they will want to develop him in the halves in Cup to work on his direction, assetiveness etc. But yes I think he would kill it was a left centre too. Really liked Naden's effort the other night mate think I would rest him and play him in the 1st round after proving form, he would be feeling it after that performance in a tough game next trial is too close at most just a short stint. If the rumours about Olam still being hampered & Laulilii concussion are on the money, it will be interesting how we line up and use in various centre/wing positions on Friday night between Turuva, To'a, Doueihi, Naden, Staines & Skelton.
If Naden's head is in the game he is a weapon hopefully he has grown as a person he has to much talent to continually be wastingReally liked Naden's effort the other night mate think I would rest him and play him in the 1st round after proving form, he would be feeling it after that performance in a tough game next trial is too close at most just a short stint.
Think you're harsh on our forwards I thought they more than held their own... Gave us majority of field position in the first 40.I thought Galvin looked great, very sharp and even more confident than last season which is a great sign.
