Tend to agree with this....Move this guy to the centres and start preparing his replacement.
He isn’t a good 5/8 anyway. He is here two more years, let’s use him where he will be helpful.

I don't think it matters who the manager is; although Moses is particularly prickly. The managers are loosely playing within the rules the NRL has set out.It still has a lot to do with how his C head manager does business Jolls how many times has he screwed clubs and us before, going forward he will get his hands on more and more of our juniors and ship them off to other clubs if he can, read he's got his claws into Godinet, this is just the start wait until our development base gets bigger with more talent coming through the A hole will throw a spanner into the works of what we are trying to achieve.
not if we beat him thereIn 5-6 years time if he breaks the Eels premiership drought, Tiger tears would flow.
Your response is sound Jolls but I think most of the forum are sick of this stuff happening again and again, the constant speculation of 1 of our players always in the media disrupting our season and it usually comes back to a scumbag manager, this time with Galvan we have other options but there will come a time we will not and we will lose another gun, the past rings a bellI don't think it matters who the manager is; although Moses is particularly prickly. Why is there is so much angst? He has been offered an extension and knocked it back because he wants to see what the maket says he is worth. Wests Tigers may be his desired destination but he wan't to get top dollar. If he is offered $1M per year by club X we have the option to meet it, or not. Depends on what we believe is a fair proce for what he has to offer. We get to make the choice to pay it or not.
In the meantime he has to play out of his skin to get the top dollar offers so it is benefit to us. If he gets a great offer from another club and we determine it is not worth us matching, or beating it, we are still in a great positon as we have him for another year on low $ or we can trade him early for someone of better value to us.
We simply need to control what we can control and make decisons on what is best for the development and longevity of the club.
We have defintely been bitten by both Moses'; and the click bait will continue - it is how they make their money. I doubt that Richo or Benji are that concerned, we had a crack and it was knocked back. There will be a fall back plan. This is happening at other clubs; we simply pull more revenue because we have just won three spoons and haven't played finals footy in over a decade.Your response is sound Jolls but I think most of the forum are sick of this stuff happening again and again, the constant speculation of 1 of our players always in the media disrupting our season and it usually comes back to a scumbag manager, this time with Galvan we have other options but there will come a time we will not and we will lose another gun, the past rings a bell
This is all true but as long suffering tigers supporters we don't have to like it, same as other club's supporters don't.We have defintely been bitten by both Moses'; and the click bait will continue - it is how they make their money. That changes with winning- plan is simple. Start winning and we are no longer open to a free kick in the guts. A decent turn around and we will become a darling of the media. Continue to lose and more of the same old same old.
100% to the point in boldSensible post @Jolls
I'm really surprised by the frenzy a lot of people are getting into here. The only thing that has changed from last week is Brown signed with the Knights.
Its a long way to November and a lot of water to flow under the bridge. It's a gold mine for the media all these clicks they are getting based on no new information.
If Galvin lets this become too much of a distraction it could hurt his next contract, and as alluded to by @Jolls this is happening :
In the mean time we are developing Latu, without the pressure of playing FG this year.
Which is how development should be done.
While Galvins mistake was he liked a post on Instagram. Poor look I agree, but hardly a hanging offence. He is still here for 2 years (and maybe longer) on great value for us. Thats a lot of time to win a lot of games of football. Who knows who will be doing what in 2027?
Well, we won’t know this year… so you’re talking next year at the earliest. This year is about the best players taking the field.I’m not saying get rid of him. BUT if he signs elsewhere, it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to realise we need to put him on the back burner and give Latu every possible chance.
That’s like saying Ken Irvine was a dud because Norths rarely won. It’s not based on 1 game.
He did this most of last year as well….22 games for 5 wins now as our starting, playmaking 5/8.
We all have to remember that this bloke played backrow in the HM winning team of 2022. He then shifted to 5/8 in SG Ball in 2023 to mixed results and never got called up to Flegg. He went from this preparation, straight to first grade in 2024!I wonder where Galvin would be if BENJI hadn’t given him a start last year , so Galvin says he owes benji for his 1st grade spot yet him and his manager and his parents want out to join the slimmmy eels who told him he would never make it , I hope if he goes there he never wins a grandfinal , what ever happened to loyalty, but in saying that it will all come down to where we finish if we make the 8 then he really needs to stay , but if we our in the bottom 4 , I would not criticise him for going , but not if the eels finish behind us
LMFAO....Its nothing like that. That’s like saying Ken Irvine was a dud because Norths rarely won.
You realise Cleary followed a similar path even when Penrith were well placed with Soward, Wallace, TeMaire Martin. We all have to remember that this bloke played backrow in the HM winning team of 2022. He then shifted to 5/8 in SG Ball in 2023 to mixed results and never got called up to Flegg. He went from this preparation, straight to first grade in 2024!
It was fking madness.
His peers from that HM side who all made it to top level, went through the pathways to arrive in first grade. Quite a few of them were fast tracked as well but they didnt go from a short season of under/19's straight to full time professional elite level.
I think had Benji not elevated him as he did, he would still be working away in Flegg/KOE and likely sticking his han up for an NRL cameo.
I struggle with this comment. The anxiety here is hilarious!
Everyone take a breath. You're all just fuelling the drama surrounding the will he/won't he narrative the media is pushing here. They know you lot are an easy catch! As long as you all keep taking the bait, it will live!
The kid is 19 and his family's meal ticket. An operator like Moses knows this and is going to wring this out as much as he can!
With several suitors available, it will be up to the club to prove to him that Wests Tigers is his future. You can't argue, it's done a poor job of this over recent times.
And if he's got a soft spot for the Eels having supported them growing up? Well that's an intangible they have in their favour, just as Wests Tigers had over Canterbury when dealing with Luai.
How would you describe it?I see a lot of emotions in this thread, however anxiety is not one of them.
Denial and resignation,How would you describe it?
Sums it up nicely.Denial and resignation,
