Money. Isn’t Walker on a 1mil dollar contract?..... and Sandon Smith is a better long term 5/8th option too i suppose?
WTF does Sam Walker have to do with their likely interest in Galvin?

That makes Benji right. Moses is poison so if there's a spat between them it's because Benji isn't toeing Moses's line. That makes Benji right. Is that this article?

Hooper is seemingly saying the real issue is some stink between Moses and Benji
Yep. I was thinking that if he joined Parra and put on those dumb hero plays, Moses would give him grief. If he plays with Sam Walker, it will be chaos (but fun to watch). Storm would only have him as a backup for Munster.if he doesn't he is going to be forced to play a much more structured game which takes away from his strengths.
he wouldn't go to the storm and get away with some of the sh1t he does with us. but it also takes away his flair and decreases his value.
the more this plays out if someone wants to pay him $1.5 million or more so be it, he isn't worth that much. We can thank the knights and dylan brown for this lol
Latu has been far superior in my opinion, albeit with a much smaller sample size.To be fair did Galvin earn his way in?
He was only called up because Latu was injured.
I forget who the storm winger was, it was on one of the shows the other week and apparently he was the worst trainer and didn't show much in reserve grade. But they were riddled with injuries and desperate, so they called him up to play first grade expecting the worst. He got his crack in First Grade and became one of their best wingers. The name completely escapes me, might have been a Fijian winger?
Every game Latu has played first grade he has been solid.
I recall the game at LO against manly and his first touch of the ball scored a try... again got injured that game...
But in the opportunity he has had, he's been great.
What else do you want from him?
Galvin coming from SG ball surely isn't "earning it" is it?

Do you think we are ‘developing’ lachie as a 5/8?No that's not what I said at all.
I said that if we want to keep him we need to be the best spot for his development. That window has now passed; he has been given offered the mentoring and the contract $ and he wasn't happy with the offer. He is still worth developing as we have him for another 18 months; but, once Latu is fit he should be developed as the 5/8th and Galvin moved to where best to meet the clubs needs. Be that a different postion or in Reggies.
I think that he will probably remain in the top 17 but not being developed as our 5/8th as that would be wasting time and effort.
How about putting Luai back to his position of 5/8 and Latu at half which I thought was his position anyway.gonna be interesting how we handle this cause is latu gonna be 6 now when he comes back or are we going to continue playing Galvin at 6 until he is leaves in 2026
No team has ever lost a premiership or copped ANY punishment for breaching anti-tampering rules!!There can't be, and Richo would call it out.
And the NRL is quite happy to take actual premierships off clubs for not complying.

Exactly right.I guess if people are planning to boo the young fella for taking more money elsewhere, they will also be booing the blokes who joined our club for more money too?
Yes, but the narrative is different now.You can just see the headlines when Galvin signs at another club, GALVIN SIGNS AT ANOTHER CLUB FOR LESS THAN WESTS TIGERS OFFERED, how many times have we copped that
He was NEVER intending to stay beyond his current contract no matter what the WT put in front of him...Good luck to the kid, I hope he remembers which club and coach had faith in him when others wouldn't haveLots of anti- Galvin posts in this thread.
My understanding of this situation is that Tigers wanted him to sign 5 years now or leave at the end of 2027. He chose to leave. Based on the state the club is in, why blame him? He will be in high demand for sure, and forget the high demand, I don't blame any player for not committing long term at the Tigers based on our history.
Tigers are right in asking him to commit now so that they can plan for 2027 and beyond. I feel we should have upgraded him and give him a year or two extension and if he doesn't sign that either, then move him on.
Got you by 5 minutes... 😜How about putting Luai back to his position of 5/8 and Latu at half which I thought was his position anyway.
