I know one thing, our attack this week couldn’t possibly be any worse than what we dished up, particularly in the first 40mins last week.
But if Manly get the home ground calls for a few unjustified penalties and a few unjustified set restarts , they could get on a big roll, exploit us with an aerial raid and put 50 on us.

No our attack was much worse this week for the majority of the game.
It still doesn’t exclude his bad it’s like week, 2 weeks in a row we have dished up attack that is well below NRL standard.

For all those that want TDS over Api. He's had a shocker in defence, attack and dummy half play. No way he can play 80 mins.

FMD, it was for 2027.

Anyway Api, didn't do much better. Its hard to see him playing really well in a couple of years.

It's incredibly obvious we need to sign 4 first graders to our top 30 before June 30 or we win the spoon.

The people that run the club don’t care. They just want to participate and lower costs as much as possible. They’ll just upgrade a few reserve grade players to fill the quota.

I'd really hope Bula gets a bit of coaching on how to unlock his outside men. He's doing OK but often is passing a little early. Like to see him straighten more before passing.

If he wants to improve as a footballer, and have personal & team success, then he may have to. Or he can cruise & pick up a generous pay day with no real expectations or standards to meet.

We never had a “great” start. We played mostly low level teams and all the same shit you saw tonight was going on then as well. It is just more amplified lately.

I think that’s a cop out personally. If the playing group are as united as we are lead to believe, wouldn’t someone going against them, unite them even further?

We never had a “great” start. We played mostly low level teams and all the same shit you saw tonight was going on then as well. It is just more amplified lately.

I disagree somewhat. Yes we played weaker teams but we also had our best starting sides.
TDS, Bird, Hunt provided a massive spark off the bench. These guys just aren’t starters. Inevitable injuries have hit and our lack of depth has exposed them.

Edit. Throw in mason as a starting spine player 🙄

Maybe it’s not the player and it’s the system he’s in.

I’ve seen many many players at this club lack the effort required but become top players when they leave.

Bar the first Parra game, our attack has been awful most of the year until something triggers an avalanche. Defence poor as well.
It was good to win a few of them but it certainly provided false hope.
Melbourne exposed us as frauds.

He is, but his yardage carries tonight were garbage and his defence not much better.
Our 2-5 is easily the slowest in the NRL and even adding Taylan May, that doesn’t change.
Then add our back rowers being the slowest in the NRL and it paints a picture as to why we offer little to no attacking threat from distance and opposing teams are able to compress their defence and make it hard for us to get out of our danger zone.
