Doesn’t improve us this year at all. If Heath Mason could be developed into a 14 who can play hooker for 20 mins, it apparently frees up 600 grand for a forward.

Gone are the days that clubs build their NRL team around juniors... Most sporting clubs whilst they like to retain the quality, are more than happy to window shop other clubs to find the right player based on their needs. Look at the EPL, NFL and the NBA.. get with the times eh... Look at the demographic of this forum, how many ppl are actually from the areas? Same applies to the team.

I'll also note Katoa went to the dolphins, Iongi went to parra, blaze went to Penrith... Do you see their fans crying as much as some on here? Its business

Tigers rose coloured glasses here. No evidence of this at all. And I like Latu. But claims like this are just coping 101.

Tell that to Penrith, who just won 4 consecutive premierships on the back of their juniors. What happens in different sports around is irrelevant. There’s no basis for anything you are saying. You just want to convince yourself that we are a professionally run club who has has some modicum of an idea of what we are doing.

We got a spoon when there were only 16 teams, we got 2 spoons when there were 17 teams, lets see if we get a spoon when there are 18 teams.

Respectfully it’s hard to compare Penrith losing juniors to us because Penrith lost those juniors in the midst of winning comps while we’re losing them in the midst of winning spoons.

Plus they had juniors that could actually step up.

We recently held Canberra and Penrith to 3 tries. We’ve improved a lot in that area particularly if you take out the Storm result.

If you take out the Storm result and replace it with the result that the Roosters will inflict on us next week, it probably still looks about the same.

What other measure do consider to assess performance of an NRL club? Maybe be financial? Oh we we came last in that aspect as well. Membership ? One of the lowest.
