He's old man is a good mate of mine that trains at my gym a few nights a week. They also live 2 doors up and bud knocks around with my young bloke. They spent time together at Starr of the year before he went over to south's. I asked him if he was happier at south's with indigenous group he told me he also really git along with Luai and the rest if the boys.

Staines actually had some decent performances for us at fb a couple years ago.

I'd rather slot him in at the 1 and keep Turuva on the wing.

I mean we're getting smacked regardless but the To'a & Turuva combination is one of the few positives of this year.

Yes me too. I don’t even know where this idea of Turuva being a fullback came from and why bust up a good centre/wing combo when Staines has already played many games at fullback? It makes no sense. Hopefully they will run out differently. Other than that it’s a pretty good team from who is left available.

All I’ll say is … this is what happens when you put clauses like this in contracts… it was probably envisaged by Luai that he would be able to use it as a way to get more money out of them as his contract went along … but now he can hold the club to ransom over who the coach is… it’s just as ridiculous as Stef deliberately playing poorly so he doesn’t get picked for Origin so he can leave the club ,.lol

He's still playing poorly but is getting selected.

Still blame the D*ck Head for the loss in SOO 2.

Yeah it’s a problem, but he did put in for our NSW Cup team on the weekend.
The fact that Benji tried him as a starting player when everyone knows he’s a specialist bench player, is very concerning also.
I would have added him to our NRL bench against the Roosters , no point having a back rower in Sukkar come on the field for 10mins, either start him or don’t select him.

It depends on what we are paying him, I’ve heard some say 400k and others say as high as 600k.
I could see a UK Super League club being very interested in buying out his contract for 400k, but I’d say even they would baulk at paying anywhere near 600k.

Twal doesn’t really strike me as captain material, I think Doueihi would be a better option.
