Didn't watch the second half. Thought he was ordinary in the firs half. Like everyone im hoping this falls apart for the dogs and Galvin cops the blame. However these things rarely fall in Tigers fans favour and its way too early to say he has stuffed the dogs season. So I sit and watch hoping, but not ready to jump on yet. Been burnt too many times.

I used to work in OH&S. I saw over and again how people who made dodgy stress claims were always messed up more by playing the victim. Playing victim is unhealthy, and the kid has not been the same since he made that frivolous bullying claim (may well have been thrown out, if tested, because a few snippy comments from workmates is not bullying).

Now, he's creating an OH&S problem for the Dog with his hospital passes 🙂

We don’t know where Richo was pushing him to play long term and that may be where the abrasion was. Goulds ambiguous as always as to where Galvin will be played long term but is obviously pushing hard early for the halves experiment which is probably what he promised him when getting him to sign on the dotted line. Early days as to how it will pan out but he’s his problem now

Good post. I recall Richardson mentioning to Galvin (and perhaps his family) that he viewed him as a John Sutton type of player. It is clear that is not what Galvin or his family wanted to hear because the market does not value locks as highly as halves.

We’ll see … he isn’t going to get any quicker as he gets older …and this is a big limitation for him

He also isn’t gunna be a flop , and will develop into a solid first grader … probably a 13 … but I don’t think he is the next Brad Fittler either ..

That’s another thing, Pawwa fans would be jumping for joy right now watching the kid fail. Galvin has basically pissed off 3 fan bases in the space of a couple months … quite a feat lol

They had Keiran Foran on the panel last night who speaks well.
Both Ennis and Brandy were very critical of Galvin .(...quite the opposite of fred and joe on 9 apparently...)along with Foran they hypothised the dogs best 17 going into the finals and all had Gal in reggies sexton 7, blurto 6 & haywood 14.
Very critical of his pass selection as was evident....need to learn to cop a hit and take the tackle....one run i noticed in the 2nd half he took it to the line yet braced for impact about 2 metres from the defender virtually stopping.
This is what happens when a young guys put in too early i guess
