Is that a red flag?Yep seems like some roster movement is starting to happen. Trey Mooney I’m pretty sure has 3 years left on his Canberra contract
He seems a good young progressive forward, just not sure if he has enough in his game to be much of an improvement on what we already have.Is that a red flag?
I havent seen much of him
nah raiders are just stacked for front rowersIs that a red flag?
I havent seen much of him
I don't think we'll bring in too many more external recruits for next season but I'd like to think that Alofiana Khan-Pereira, Siliva Havili, Siofifa Talakai & Adam Elliott are on our radar.I think the Mole is off with this info.
Old news.
We've got more important things to work out from our end.
ADs future.
Buds future.
If we're keeping Staines, Tuitupou and KMapz.
Strengthening our pack.
This is where I'm confused cause on the HBG website it says they took over Wests Ashfield Ltd. Wouldn't that mean it's a business and not a community not for profit club. Sorry i don't get any of that business stuff.Objectively speaking we have far more upside focusing on commercial opportunities than hanging out for leagues club handouts although it helps.
The brand does contribute to the money that goes through HBG and as a non-profit, they need to distribute that or grow their business which would delay any generous funding if it would ever come. I hope with the new club at Rozelle, they are putting funds aside to make that a success and start taking their obligation more seriously.
Anyone looking at the dismal state of our corporate revenue can see why Richo sees where the biggest opportunity for growth is in the revenue generated by the club. Wtf was Pascoe doing for 10 years is my question?
Anyway...all the home ground sugar hits we've been taking from Homebush and Commbank start to make sense when you see the numbers. With lots of money, you can do lots of things across the club and if we've been running the club on the smell of an oily rag for this long, you start to get a better sense of why people want out so often when there are better conditions on offer elsewhere and it's about time someone focused on making some positive changes there.
You just need to look at China and realise how important infrastructure is.Howard left the nation with a structural deficit, no apologies for the fact.
That vomit fest of a podcast where Benny went there as Isaac Moses rep. The way he spoke about Galvin sounded like he got a cut of his new deal. Absolute clown. No push back from Kent about Galvin and Moses lawsuit and dirty tactics to get out of our deal, it was just the Tigers boardrooms fault for letting him go. Benny's a deadset clown.Good old Benny tried it...not sure what would be worse. He was talking to Kent saying the first thing he'd do is out Michael Cheika in charge of development.
All warning signs unfortunately are covered by the speed camera vehicle, other vehicles in the vicinity or environmental obstructions, but the signs are out technically. From the Transport for NSW website:
"You'll see warning signs coming up to and after mobile speed cameras as well as a sign on top of the mobile speed camera vehicle, when they're in operation, so you know your speed is being checked."
They also have a locations list on there of where you can expect them. In relation to your earlier query about them being lit up at night, I highly doubt that that would be a requirement as they don't light up normal speed limit signs either.
Yeah Asians are pretty smart. You just need to look at China and realise how important infrastructure is.
They built roads linking communities. They built trains.
They found what was being bottlenecks to their industries and they built support!
Also Every Asian country invests heavily into education. We are really dropping the ball. Like really bad.
We can either look ahead or look up our own arses... I totally agree, we have a massive Structural deficit and it sucks.
Apparently KK’s middle name is Kurt.I don't think we'll bring in too many more external recruits for next season but I'd like to think that Alofiana Khan-Pereira, Siliva Havili, Siofifa Talakai & Adam Elliott are on our radar.
No big names but they all fill gaps in our roster ...
Khan-Pereira - much discussed on here already but is an out-and-out speedster & finisher. With doubts about the futures of Naden, Staines (even To'a) moving forward, he puts pressure on Skelton straight away which is always good to have in a squad.
Havili - ideal as our #14 to relieve Api and slot into the middle other times off the bench for some punch. Hope is a waste as a #14 & Mason is not ready.
Talakai - ideal as our bench backrow/centre cover and could come on for middle impact too. Upgrade on Bird for this role.
Elliott - without finding a ball-playing lock, he would be better at lock than Twal or Seyfarth with his experience, line speed, effort plays and actually does have a bit of ball playing which has been muzzled under O'Brien. What he also brings is a loud experienced voice on field which we don't have much of.
Then if he's still available come November 1, I'm opening up the cheque book for Keaon Koloamatangi to come on board from 2027 as a starting prop. Love what KK has done since his move to the middle. It would have to be a $$$ thing as a I can't see him leaving the Rabbits otherwise.
