The one thing we do also have to remember is that Richo did say he had to give 90 days notice, so that can very quickly change and can be cancelled, but HBG has to agree to it as a resignation is agreed to by both sides.

So he could just slot back in if Barry does agree to come back and that changes his mind.

But the fact above all else that we all need to remember is still HBG out.

It was in his contract he could resign if the board was not independent.

HBG also accepted his resignation.

It would be great if that happened, but it doesn't all blow away.

They've created a situation for themselves where they look stupid regardless of what they do from here. The narrative is either "back flip clown show" or "wrong decision why would you do that?".

Yeah they're offering Marshall an extension to lock him in till 2029. Lol. Benji is the new king maker. They're doing it to bring stability. After they grenaded the joint. By doing this now Benji has all the power cause he has the players behind him. If he says no I'll wait to see how things turn out HBG are in serious trouble. By offering Benji this new deal to calm things they're basically saying we feel the pressure of what we've done and are now scared the players will walk.

It's such a moral victory and "up yours" to HBG that I reckon he'd take the role back in a heart beat.

Imagine how smug Richo is tonight. I reckon he knew what was to come, explains why he so up beat at his presser.
