We need more gooners of the Burgess and Fallah ilk. I bet they have great ideas such as cheerleaders in magpie costumes, that also serve as waitresses in their private box. I bet they could bring in great sponsors, maybe we could be the OnlyFans Wests Magpies.

Seemingly overlooked by the HBG flag bearers is that Leagues clubs exist to fund League - amongst other community interests.
It’s their foundation,
That’s how the get the licences, poker machines and the like

These blokes make out like they’re doing us a solid, without Footy - Ashfield doesn’t exist.

In a perfect outcome just about any new owner would be better than them, their dollars contribution is piss weak.
 
Great to see Richo at the opening of WSU centre of excellence. Of course, the imagined push for Western Suburbs Magpies to return to NRL, which is obviously a figment of my imagination, rears its ugly head in the second post about this amazing facility. Other than that, I am very proud to be WSU Alumni 🧡🤍🖤

It’s just typical Magpie Fanatic blather. They have been like it for years. To them, literally the Magpies have always been only 1 or 2 years away from being reinstated. They believed it whole heartedly when I was a member of their FB group back in 2012-13. And given recent events, they probably believe it now more than ever. It doesn’t mean anything though. They have no power or influence. They’re just stuck in 1980 and will be until they day they all go into the ground.
