OFFICIAL Jahream Bula #269

Is this shoulder issue the same one he had surgery on previously? if so, I wonder if it is a recurring/structural problem.....might have implications for his contract $$ and attractiveness to other clubs.

Sukkar worries me
Get a grip brother. It's not real life for us. Unless it is for you. Is West's Tigers your life? It's okay to be honest. Just like I am always wrong.

Because in reality it doesn't worry Sukkar. This is his job. His life right now. This is how he supports his family. You think he is a bludger or just not good enough?

I think Bula is fine, but perhaps slightly disappointing compared to what his potential was when he first came into first grade. I don't think he's markedly improved at any area of the game. Underwhelming as a ball player and while he doesn't really stifle our attack around the edges, he doesn't add a great deal to it either. Obviously a great threat in broken play with his speed and while he's generally good under the high ball, there is an error or two in his game.

He's at the level of player where you can conceivably upgrade them, but at the same time, you run the risk of replacing them with someone worse if you don't re-sign them. In an ideal world you manage to re-sign them at fair market value rather than on overs, but sadly the prospect of that will become trickier going forward with the new teams coming in. If we do re-sign him, great. If not, I'd be looking to Newcastle to try and pick up one of Fletcher Hunt or Fletcher Sharpe, especially given the news of Ponga's long-term extension.
Hunt for me lucks like a great prospect

Haven’t seen him this year but last year he defended well, but metres were low!
Sukkar has regularly been one our best in Cup, on both sides of the ball. My only concern is that KPP basically locked down that right side in defence and i dont know if Sukkars best is anywhere near as good...the rest will have to pick up some slack.

I agree with your thoughts, and I generally like him as a player. Given he is so young and has a big frame, can only see him getting better with time. 1 really negative, he’s managed by pond/septic scum!!

I'm not too sure most people understand how agents work, what they actually do and how they make a dollar. I know a Broncos player who earns more than twice his contract per season, almost three times. His earnings include everything from TPD's, appearances, golf days etc. He works year round. The Big Marn has the same manager and told me he thought he was going to go broke post Footy Show until he signed with Chimes. He hasn't looked back and is making more than ever. They don't just sign contracts and see them in 3 years time.
This does not surprise me with the Broncos. When they played us a couple of weeks ago they had ten players out, including some of their stars. I could not believe the quality of the team they were able to put on the field despite the outs. There would have to be plenty of “extras” whether legal or illegal for their top 30 to be under the cap. It’s probably a sign that no Broncos will go to PNG.

Hopefully this guy will be shamed by how respectfully and quickly Jarome made a decision into growing a set and making his choice either way.
So far he has shown no character hiding behind a manager who hates his coach.
He's happy to put the club through turmoil without regard for the team.
Galvin Mark 2.

You're hitching your wagon to the wrong show pony.
This guy's gonna cuck you and you'll be left sitting in the corner , stripped of your dignity, crying over your Creamy Reamy.
Don't do it to yourself, we have much better fullback prospects at the club already.
Gonna "cuck" me? Very dignified....

Grow up you imbecile.

If you have ever read any of my posts, you might notice I will ALWAYS refer to the tigers as "they", the tigers, etc., and don't "hitch my wagon" to any sporting team by using the term "we...".

"We won today!".
"We need more depth at hooker...".

No, WE didn't win. THEY did. THEY need more depth at hooker.

Unlike many, I have a clear distinction between life that really matters, and my favourite sports team.

The tigers... Bula... I enjoy following. But they are far from my identity.

If anything I'm the antithesis to the simpleton who reveres athletes you're ridiculously trying to paint me as.

Troll someone of a similar lack of any semblance to intelligence to yourself next time.

I understand they are very few, but with the minute sample pool you'll find more success.
