Adam Doueihi #227

Nah , just where Adam goes so does twal and Seyfarth . Thats the faction in the club . Doesn’t mean they’re following Adam , I should clarify that , I just meant .. you know how it is .. one of your mates is bitching you’re all standing around looking whether you mean to or not , or agree .
That’s what I meant Z the unnecessary social tension .

This sort of stuff is from failed journos like The Mole, Kent and Hoops … they are trying to make a living from click bait sensationalism.., Im not buying it just yet .. I’ll see how Twaly puts in this week

I see the NSW Cup in his immediate future

As it should because how can any of his teammates respect him after this pathetic episode. This is not the actions of a team player but an attention seeking prima donna.
I have lost all respect for the bloke and he needs to wind back his ego 100% before i would consider him to ever play first grade again. He is getting a lot of bad advice (i assume that most of it is from Moses).
Every club is welcome to sign this idiot unless he changes his terrible attitude.

Nah man I’m not buying it either … but I’ve been in teams where there’s issues and found myself listening to a mate go off … and not agreeing , but still supporting him , and the other guy walks past … and now you know he thinks there’s a faction there … it’s bullshit but that’s how it translates in the day to day machinations . People will be walking on egg shells. _Andnit sux and is not fair to Javon .

My immediate reaction was that he should he out the door … but I’m old school from a black and white world, and things seem to be a lot more grey these days … if he is doing Isaac’s bidding he wouldn’t be going back for a “crisis meeting” as being reported from Riccio

I have far more respect for Twal and Seyfarth and i doubt it will affect their games at all as they will both still keep on trying imho.
I was more talking about how a young kid walks into a dressing room . And his perspective . It wasn’t a stab at the other 2s character . Just how these things actually play out .
I remember like I said talking to the other guy like 6 months later in my experience and he thought I hated him .. just because I was listening to my mate .
Thats how petty and childish and immature it can all get. And it’s not fair to the kid … he’s got bigger fish to fry , but he could be worried about trivial shit like this . That like you said … the other 2 probably are just being supportive to thier mate .
Hopefully they’ve pulled him aside and let him know … because I would be really really surprised if they agree with ADs behaviour

I don’t think it is grey that much . I think it’s still pretty black and white , with trust especially defensively being the number 1 ingredient.
I personally wonder now is AD one of the problems in the club . Like he loves it too much , that he can’t differentiate between what’s best for the club and what’s best for him .

The players of today are littered through the media their jobs thrive on this stuff - Luke Keary said it yesterday in a program when a fan rang up frustrated by the mid season negotiations/signings walkouts /drama.
His response was he loves it because it gives them the media something to talk about - if that doesn't demonstrate the disconnect about how fans feel about supporting their clubs and the way the current media /NRL views the state of the game I don't know what does.

Luke Keary is fast establishing himself as a bigger dickhead than Cooper Cronk . There’s a sense of holier than thou . Which is funny because of the little [This word has been automatically removed] way he left souths .
It’s a cultural thing at the roosters . Also he’s trying to establish himself as a top pundit , so the things he says like the luai thing , are meant to piss people off .

Just hypothetically… if he says he was in the wrong, it was all an emotional reaction and is now extremely apologetic for his actions .. do they still push him out the door?

The NRL loves all this … in the Sydney media market all this stuff literally dominates the sporting news …no other sport gets a look in anymore … AFL ? Who? The Wallabies have played the last three weeks …really?

Nah you drop him . He has to be punished … it really depends on him .
Like we all mess up . Like I said previously it’s not the dummy spit or even the walking out .. that’s all natural emotions in a highly competitive environment , it also probably signals the end of any chance AD has at being successful half .. which would be hard to take … I do have empathy for that …… but the pre meditated part of it , mixed with the Moses shills in Riccio and co now spreading anti tigers shit everywhere . That’s going to be hard to come back .
He’s gonna have to be honest , contrite , genuinely remorseful , and willing to take whatever pineapples come his way . If he doesn’t meet any of those standards , you know it’s bullshit and he has no future.

Should Javon have even been named this week ? NO on Benji
Should Doueihi have been moved to lock ? NO on Benji
Should have Doueihi reacted the way he did ? NO on Doueihi
Should have Twal and Seyfarth reacted the way they have been alleged to have acted ? NO on Twal on Seyfarth
So many bad decisions being made by supposed leaders of the club ....can we ever move forward successfully as a club without accountability being taken by someone
Every year it's something different .....but you never see it happening at the top clubs
It's really embarrassing

I’d make him play Reggie’s for a week then pick him where is best for the team if he’s playing well.

That’s his only avenue back imo.
He needs a closed door apology to his team mates , where he explains his actions and he gets grilled by the boys . And just has to take it .
Why? Because that’s humbling and shows true self reflection and willing to humble yourself . If he’s not willing to do it .. it means his ego is still making the decisions and more importantly it means it could happen again …… for the third time !!!

Why shouldn’t Benji have named Javon ? He’s killing the cup . What else can he do with 2 of the top 4 halves unavailable .
Why shouldn’t Benji have moved Adam to lock ? He’s 105kg and 195cm tall fffs . the guy is Huge and not doing a good enough job in the halves .
In actuality it shows how much Benji values him , because any other half would be wearing the magpies jersey . But Benji changed the team to accommodate him . And it’s still not enough …

Why shouldn't Javon have been named?

We have had the most putrid attack in the NRL, only 22 points in the last 4 rounds total. An amazing 5.5 points per game. Doueihi acting like he is prime Andrew Johns getting asked to play hooker. Doueihi had the most touches of the ball last week for 0 points.

So, the coach does what any coach with half a brain with an out of finals contention squad would do. Blood a promising prospect, a prospect who is leading NSW cup in try assists and line break assists by significant margins.

He tries to fix our attack by having a better passer on the field and giving Doueihi a role that suits his strength of running the ball, overall giving us more options to score some points.

The arrogance of Doueihi to think that his performance over the last few weeks warrants no review, that the tactics need no adjustments and that he is untouchable blows my mind. He had a purple patch to start the season but has been a very below average half since returning.

I think Benji made the right decision, I am ecstatic to see Javon picked and I think Doueihi should go down to NSW cup and see if he can outperform Javon's production.
