Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Might be Thomas Steadman actually

Isn't he with Perth/North Sydney Bears?

Someone did mention we may be getting someone released from Perth Bears to join us + may be the club's new halfback signing that Josh from WT Life alluded to in September.

PS. As in a depth halfback (NSW Cup).

Quick stalk, it’s him.

I think we'll roar back into contention next year like a blue wave - a blue wave in America.

Tristan Hope’s signed back with Brisbane Tigers

Liero does a lot of dumb crap...is very costly and not what Id call a leader

Listening to the 1/6/7 podcast, he's in the same mould as the Dallas Johnson, Hinchliffe type but obviously not as good.

One of the hardest trainers apparently and current Bellamy favourite.

Pezet is an awful signing in hindsight. They’ll throw the sink at Walker.

I think a bad signing by Parra, not Broncos. He did quite good in his limited Storm appearances.

I just think he may be a late bloomer though.

While we are pipe dreaming, why not get walker on a train and trial

On hoops podcast he said roosters would chip in 2-300 k for next year, so a club could get him for 800 next year and will have to upgrade later

Maybe, but what are the odds of walker wanting to come to the tigers lol

I really don't think he would make us a top 8 team

I am not feeling optimistic about 2027 at all, we can't even decide on who our halves pairing will be. With no elite halfback you are not winning more games then you lose.

I'm sick of hating the offseason when no football is on because when it is it's just constant disappointment.

Thanks for listening to my rant.

I'm not going to lose any sleep if he no chance, he knocked back a deal with the premiers.

That sends an unwanted signal he could be chasing the money unless he's looking for a move to Queensland.

We don’t have a team full of powerful physically dominant tackle busting players that he requires to produce his best, so he’d be lucky to look any better than the halves we already have if he was playing for us

Steadman could be earmarked for the NSW Cup #7 spot when Madden is called up to NRL. Experienced game manager and allow Javon to have consistent type with him in Cup (Madden/Steadman). Just speculating lol

My thinking too

I see josh Schuster was playing golf today. Shouldn't he have been at training? Or is he gone?

I don’t THINK he should’ve been there, Pat Richard’s said something about players with under 3 pre seasons having to turn up this week, but I could be fully incorrect and Josh is gone

[BlackWhiteGold]

Glassie Glassie was also in the 1st group at pre-season training today, according to Tyson Jackson in the Api article in the DT tonight.

[Halbrowne61]

Yeah but not worth the money.

Or the ego - talented but spasmodic ( injury prone ?) and imo we don’t need that type of influence on our youngsters !

Is he officially not with us anymore?

Im not sure if he is gone but I haven't heard anything from the club regarding him being here in 27 (or not being here either). I don't think it is a given he will return on a train and trial without shopping himself around first.

Except whether journo Ethan has some early intel that AD will get first crack at halfback & Latu five-eighth (pending fitness over pre-season).

Oh [This word has been automatically removed] no!
