Ouch. That's savage - received the farmer's kick - got a couple of acres.
Yep, his love for Romey really hurt us.
Genuinely know we will be a better team without him.
Yep Jock of Luai all season, shame Benji got in the way.

I don't agree with the love for Jock. He's a good reserve grader. He was reasonably good today and a hero after potting that winning point. But his kicking up until then was too short.
He got no help from Luai, I don't remember him kicking at all, or doing any game management. Api had to play dual roles of dummy half and 5/8.

Maddens talk and pushing players around is very good, and it shows as our attack looks ok with him there instead of Doueihi. However. His reads in defence are poor and if his kicking game is gonna be like that, well he really doesnt off enough.

Good summary RR.

He has his good points. He plays direct and straightens the attack. And doesn’t play for himself unlike some other wannabe halfbacks. His kicking is not first grade standard though and is the reason why he will never be more than a fringe first grader.

Doueihi has the boot, needs to be in the team unfortunately but not as the organiser, hog central.
No he didn’t . Every kick went 30 metres which meant they were recieivjng the ball on thier twenty and starting their sets on the 30m . 99% of teams not off their game would put a score on us .

Yep to be a top line 7 you need to tick every box. He ticks most. I like him in the squad.

Let’s hope he was watching closely today that his outside men have some ability, but who knows what’s going to happen in 2027 so we’ll just have to wait and see.
Unfortunately Jock has no running game, so doesn’t put the defence in two minds. He is good depth providing Latu and Javon hold up. There was a couple of occasions that a good running half could have taken advantage of in today’s game. Having said that, he sure can nail a field goal thank heavens.
