Has anyone seen the Code Sports article on Wests Tigers recruitment....who they should chase to make the semis next year The player pictured is Liam Martin, I thought he already re signed with Penrith.

A suggestion based on a rumour on WT Life podcast that we had signed a halfback for next season. Humphrey is uncontracted.

Both Newcastle starting props out and he stood up and lead the pack in an elimination finals game. Not a single one of our bench or depth guys could do that.

I actually quite liked the crew we had on the field in the second half against Penrith, except Sione. Sign a few bog average yet experienced NRL players rather than play those who are too young and with a bit of injury luck we'll be alright. A no to Gosieswki for me, he's below average.

Haven’t seen Frizell play like that in a while and don’t think that’s his every week level, but even close to that and he’s first prop picked if we signed him.

Frizell, and Mann are exactly the types of signings we should be making. Seasoned professionals that won’t break the bank.

But let's start with some new assistant coaches. Keep the fans interested.

We need a couple of seasoned professionals, but we also need players with X factor much more.
X factor can win you matches even when you don't deserve to win. Create something out of nothing.
We have no one, absolutely no one who can do that.
Problem with that is, another season wasted and probably will lose some of our young guns.

The player we let go ( Sullivan ) is thought by Bennett to be superior than Humphrey's
I'd pass on Humphrey's based on that alone

I watched him closely last night because some have spoken about him as a possible lock option, so thats how I was judging him. I have to admit, his first carry was powerful and aggressive. His passing slick and his defence strong. Geniune big body. I think those saying he could be a good lock are right. I could see him coming off the bench at 13 for us. Elijah Taylor could work magic with him.
Also Frizzell, wow. If he played like that every week he starts in the front row for us allowing Pole and Sione to be impact off the bench. What a leader he was last night. Frizzell, May and Twal all at their best is a great starting middle.

When we tried the Bud experiment he was woeful. He also wasn't great last night.
