Skelton played half the season this year. 13 games. So, being a like for like replacement, Schiller would see a fair bit of first grade. Sure, he might not start, but he would be in the mix every single week.

Dont be so sensitive mateYou are sometimes at the same protest with no idea what you are protesting about.
You know what, the people who never ever suggest a potential signing, really should not comment in the Rumoured Signings and Discussions thread and certainly should not get upset when players suggested within this thread are being discussed or signed by the club itself.
That would be very noble of you, not many on here would.Absolutely our opinions are different. I will respect yours but will stick with mine & look I really hope Schiller comes here & carves it up. I will happily put my hand up & say I was wrong if it works out well
Plus he can play more then 1 position which is a bonusExactly.
Some of our supporters expect superstars as fringe players, obviously not understanding there is a Salary Cap to work with and not understanding the need for speed and line breaking ability within our team.
Remember seeing Trevor play for Balmain in the mid seventies. Very solid playerSad to hear of the death of former Tiger Trevor Ryan. Played 1st grade as a 17 year old centre and ended up in the second row. Great club man.
Isn't that Tupou? He'd be our first choice back up.
?? What forum are you readingNo one’s arguing.
= NO DOUEIHI. 🤣 🤣 🤣Need some pace out wide. Need to get the ball out there first and stop it dying with the halves.
Someone needs to remind Benji of how good we looked in that Roosters game...halves giving the backrowers and outside men good early ballNeed some pace out wide. Need to get the ball out there first and stop it dying with the halves.
Was it a coincidence Doueihi didn’t playSomeone needs to remind Benji of how good we looked in that Roosters game...halves giving the backrowers and outside men good early ball
Exactly the point.Plus he can play more then 1 position which is a bonus
Who would be number 1 fullback backup next year Schiller Attard?Exactly the point.
At the moment our back centres are Herbert on the right and Saukuru on the left.
Saukuru could improve in leaps and bounds with his NRL experience at the back end of the 2026 season and Herbert is ok for the odd game of we have a real bargain with injuries, but surely we want better than him as our main back up right centre, particularly when considering Averillo might be required to play other positions.
Ok lett’s hope we run with your theory, don’t worry about speed or attacking ability, let’s just field a team of 17 good defenders every week and we will try win all our games 12-6.Your facts again shoot you in the foot
Two of the 5 highest scoring games in NRL history are from the 1930s
And Skelton scored tries while he was out!Was it a coincidence Doueihi didn’t play
So why do you change what I say ....Ok lett’s hope we run with your theory, don’t worry about speed or attacking ability, let’s just field a team of 17 good defenders every week and we will try win all our games 12-6.
Based on your theory Patrick Herbert should get selected ahead of Jake Averillo every week as he is a stonger defender.
Im pretty sure hes had more than 1 run in top gradeI just checked Schiller’s stats in his 1 NRL game. He managed to miss 7 tackles on the wing which could be a record.
I haven’t watched him at all but I have concerns with that paired with the fact the team want to move him on under contract.
