10th anniversary WTs maiden finals series

Was planning on watching this when Ink brought it up, have only just sat down to watch the prelim against the Cowboys.

A few points

How different is the game played today to just 10 years ago? So many opportunities, I felt anyway, that if the game was played today the refs would have blown the pea out of the whistle. The game was so fast, free flowing, great to watch.

And still with the refs, no constant going up to the video ref to check on try's, besides Boof's no try, it was pretty much, bang, awarded, bang, awarded.

How good was the support play from Hodgo? Amazing.

Completely forgot Sheens took Robbie off for a rest at around 26-6 in the 2nd half and put Dene in at hooker for a bit.

Did I mention how good Hodgo was?

Over the years, Fitzy copped quite a bit of flack on the forum.

No one can deny that he had a very good second half of the season, and an old forum member Crouching Tiger was probably his biggest supporter.
Does any one remember the FWO ( Fitzy World order ) shirts ??

yeah Fitzy was quite good in the back half of the year, certainly had a good game against the Broncos the following week.

Just finished re-watching that too, great defensive effort in the 1st half.
