there is no excuse for losing either of these games.
We showed friday what we can do if we apply ourselves mentally.
Gus Gould made some good points in his article yesterday.
If they come out in both games with the same attitude they will win both matches comfortably.

And what if the other teams match the attitude?
Your post just highlites how easy it is to stray from the right attitude

I did jump the gun a little bit but
it is highly likely if we have the right attitude we will win both games.
I am never disappointed in a loss if I know the boys put in 110%.
To be honest though the tigers usually either play there best and win or play well below there best and lose.

Our Boys dont do these games very well.

I am not confident….

I agree. We turned up against Parra but that doesn't mean we will be focussed over the next couple of weeks.

If we can't go down there, when the weather is not near freezing, with a relatively lengthy turnaround and show a decent attitude in defence, then we won't go far in this comp.

If we have a decent attitude and commitment in D we should win this match.

I think if TLL is back than the Raiders are carrying two power running offloaders. Not the ad lib chuck it away Eels style of play. I would be more worried if Galea was back for them as a defensive base but still it will be tough

We tend to be complacent when coming of a win and playing less fancied sides.

Again - Mental approach and Maturity needs attention especially as we are young team.

As said previously 2 away games. If our forwards get the same roll on as they did against Parra,we will win both. Our backs are far superior to both Canberra and Cowboys (except Thurston),and he plays well at DFS.I'll be going to DFS for this clash as I usually do.I like to see WT under 20 in action as well. There seems to be a number of WT supporters up this way also.Looking forward to round 5.Hope all the cyclones stay away, and the only one is Lote scoring heaps of tries.

Both teams have good Home form. The weakest Home Form of the 2 would have to be the Cowboys. Considering our record against them, we should go alright.

Canberra are hard at Home. Looking at round 1, the Raiders were terrible in defence against the Panthers. In round 2, they wernt much better. They only won because the Broncos are simply that terrible. Again on Saturday, the Titans made there defence look the same.

If we go to Canberra with a strong defencive mentality, we will win easily. They only average 2.3 tries per game in 2010 compared to our 5.6 Tries after 3 rounds.

Lets hope kicking isnt a problem!!!

The road trip to the village doesn't bother me, I'm confident the Tigers will beat Canberra. The Tigers have too much skill and pace for the Raiders IMO. Majority of the forward pack is playing well, Galloway is going forward, Ellis has carried on his excellent form from last year and so far Heighno is showing a bit of a resurgence as well, plus Gibbs and Payten are top defenders and we could have Fulton back for this match too…

Benji has been the Tigers best in 2 out of 3 games this year and was still the Tigers most dangerous against the Roosters. I can't see the Raiders shutting him down. Moltzen looks a hell of a lot more comfortable at 7, Lawrence and Ayshford are in good form and Tuqiri looks dangerous just about everytime he touches the ball.

Sunday arvo at the start of April is a good time to get the Raiders and Sheens will have the team ready to play. North Qld is the one I'm more worried about due to the humidity, but the Cowboys are not showing much grit in defence at the moment.

2 Massive weeks coming up….......how very true

Like someone said before if we lose nothing has changed, we need to build on last week.

We need to consolidate last weeks performance, no doubt Sheens is drilling that into the buys. If we remian focusing for at least 79 mins we should win comfortably.

As for Nth Qld…not too sure what will happen...but I do hope we smash them! Not sure why Gallant went up there....would probably played more mins in NRL at Wests than Nth Qld? I hope he does not play against us....

North Qld coach is similar to Sheens..does not mind playing people out of position... They say to win the comp you need a great 1, 6, 7, & 9 in your team (the rest ned to also be hald decent as well). I don't think that any coach would disagree, then why do coaches not ensure that these positions are taken by specialists??? That is players who whole careers were in these positions rather than trying to fill it with someone who has hardly ever played that position. Unless of couse as a result of injury and lack of depth. I know that there is exception to the rule..but is not common and IMO poor practice.

Fifita is playing where he should be and where is Barba playing? Would be surprised if not 6 or 7 when he comes on…anyway at the moment both are not starting players.
