My guess would be his playing style doesn't suite the one that Brendan Rodgers wants to implement at Liverpool.

And he struggled for the Reds. May as well make some money out of an under performer by loaning him out rather than not utilise him.

Sorry CB ,I only watch Liverpool play when they take on the Hammers or I'm having sleep issues

Wish we hadn't let him go to start with

He still has to pass the medical Glen as far as I knew

31,injury issues he is a nothing signing Actually I had been really happy with Carlton Cole and when Maiga has been called on he has played well also

You pretty much summed up my thoughts on the matter Happy. His best was a few years ago.

Wondering if you or anyone else has seen our other new recruit Marouane Chamahk play ?? Back up striker from Arsenal

watched the wanderers at parra stadium yesterday and despite the loss really enjoyed the game. crowd and atmosphere is incredible. would even go far as to say that the wanderers supporters are least the equal to or better than any other supporters of any code in sydney.
if they play finals at home they will be putting up the ' house full ' sign at parra stadium for probably the first time in decades.

I know I am being a bit of a wet blanket here, but the Wanderers were always going to have a great atmosphere being a new club playing at a stadium that holds barely 20,000 people. Good on their supporters for getting out there and supporting their club, but wait until the hard times come on and they play like Sydney FC… It will be interesting to see what their numbers round out at.

Reading looking at Rogic from the Mariners too, could be a big break for the young fella, especially if he impresses before Reading get relegated.

fair enough cb and the proof will be when things are not going well but there is definately a vibe to the new club that i think will only keep growing as the west is the real heart of oz football

You're definitely right there BP. We had a group of about 15 of us that attended the Sydney FC games in the Cove and such. All but four of us are still Sky Blues, it proves that the football fans in Sydney were always waiting for a Western Sydney club.

I just think we should look at it subjectively. They're a new club, so there will be a honeymoon period… Factor in that they are travelling very well and play out of a smaller stadium than either Melbourne clubs and Sydney FC and they would always pull decent crowds. I don't say this because I don't want the Wanderers to be a success, it's great for Australian football if they are and will only strengthen the A-League rather than a North QLD Fury or Gold Coast United which were really only there to make up numbers, but we shall see over time whether their immediate popularity and successes translate into permanent success.

Howard (Mr. Man U) Webb has been confirmed as the referee to take charge of Manchester Utd vs Liverpool this weekend.

FML! Give the scum bags the game now!

I think you are right though. Me and my mates are some of the supporters who sing amongst the RBB and I have noticed what I would describe as fair weather fans amongst it. Once a tough time hits and wins aren't happening I can see smaller crowds happening. That of course happens in every sport. I do however think there will still be great support from the RBB. There are some very passionate and loyal fans amongst that group.

I'm starting to worry aboutBig Sam

In the trade period we have bought three strikers , but we critically need a left back

Young Potts gifted Sunderland 2 goals this morning Talented , but lacks experience

I don't know Happy. A replay is the last thing that Ferguson wanted, especially a few days after a League game. I can't see a full strength side going out for United.
West Ham at $8, the draw at $5\. Both options worth a nibble.

Very tempting to bet against the Devils. Only problem is the Hammers are still struggling with injuries.
