2012-2013 Football (Sokkah) Thread

I'd assume he'd be learning a hell of alot from Roman anyway. He does need to get more gametime, but he's at (arguably) one of the top sides on the planet right now.

Langerak would be better positioned going to a Championship club where he will be guaranteed a start. A team like Wigan or QPR would be a good place to start.

Speaking of Dortmund, is Amini seeing any gametime over there? I don't really watch the Bundesliga as I don't have Setanta.

Can't crack the first team, with the centre halves of subotic and hummels you can understand why..

Doing well in the reserves though!

as for Langerak he's getting about 20% of the games they play, mainly in the Pokal (German Cup) but some BL and CL games here and there as well.

Big 6 days in the EPL at both ends of the table

Any picks who will win the EPL and who will get relegated

Going to punt on Chelsea , Hammers hopefully be the fly in Man City's ointment on the last day

And for going down
Swansea
Cardiff
Fulham

Bundesliga Champions with only 4 dropped points so far and 7 games to go.

Beaten Arsenal's 49 game unbeaten run,

I see no reason why this team can't go back to back to back in the Champions League.

3 finals in 4 year. If they'd won all of them they could've won 6 CL's in a decade.

This team isn't just good, it's scary.

Been meaning to ask this question for a while Sat , but do you think that winning the Bundesliga so easily is a good thing for German football ??

Once again proof that Liverpool fans are the worst fans in world sport.

They are not very bright at all. Pretty much the same mentality as dragons fans.
Although dragons fans at least have had 1 premiership to celebrate. The poor liverpoo fans have never felt EPL victory. NEVER not once. Manchester United 13 times EPL Champions. Now that's owned

If anyone gets a chance , look at the Berisha send off tonight

Looks bad , but he makes contact with the ball first

Are referees starting to preempt all of his fouls He was absolutely distraught tonight and I don't blame him

He ended up studding the keeper in the head after rolling over on top of the ball.
Just because you get the ball first doesn't mean you don't get called for a foul either. It was an unlucky challenge but I guess you pay the price when you challenge for a ball like that.

German Football's overtaken Italian football and whilst bayern are EXTREMELY Strong,

that just makes the opposition teams have to play better? and the entire league improves.

Happy's happy the Hammers should be safe for another season after beating Sunderland this morning 2-1

37 points ahould be enough and I'm sure with 5 games remaining we can pick up some more points

Hopefully our main goal should be to be the fly in the ointment for the Top 4 sides

We play three of them ,hopefully we stop Man City

Just make sure your Hammers beat Arsenal. Also beating Spurs would also be good for us, but just beat Arsenal.

Sincerely,
An Everton fan

Well we have beaten Tottenham in our last three games

Arsenal is a different story

Historically we don't do great against Arsenal either, but if we can knock them over on Sunday we're a great chance at sneaking into that top 4\. It is at Goodison where we've been pretty much perfect this entire season so it's a good chance of happening I guess. Although we also have games there against both Manchester sides which are also huge. Arsenal probably have the easiest run home of all the top 7 teams.

I think the Hammers are good now, they have a solid buffer both in terms of points and in terms of ladder placement. If they don't get another point this season there is enough teams below them that they won't all pass them.

The Gunners have conceded some big scores away from home recently. Let's just hope that that form continues.

Martinez has also got a few selection headaches ahead of Sunday's match. With Jagielka coming back and Stones playing so well, who does he drop? Stones? Or Distin?

There's plenty of competition for other positions too, with Naisy, Kev and McGeady playing so well off the bench last week, it will be interesting to see who starts.

We beat them 3-0 away in the league as well as the EPL and that was with everyone out injured

Don't worry there are bad referees in what ever sport you watch

Liverpool given a dubious hand ball penalty that Gerrard puts away , Tomkins arm doesn't move one bit and Suarez is less than a metre away

5 minutes later , the referee misses Carroll climbing all over the keeper like a lothario for a corner and ball drops to Demel who equalizes even though the sideline official calls no goal

1-1 Can the Hammers become the fly in Liverpool's ointment ??

And the ref get another penalty wrong Adrian gets all ball in a challenge and another penalty

To put the NRL prospective is like having Suttor refereeing by himself

Liverpool can't win a title so its seems they are going to buy one Absolutely dreadful

West Ham fans chant is perfect Referee 2 Referee 1
