2012-2013 Football (Sokkah) Thread

Man City are probably in the box seat now with the superior goal difference

Everton will be a test and unless the Hammers have something to play for ie relegation they will probably put 5 past us

Hurting after shooting ourselves in the foot quite spectacularly against Southampton, but hopefully we can put City away at Goodison. Played well at home this season against the top sides, like Chelsea and Arsenal. Not so much against the lower sides though. Losing to Sunderland and Palace wasn't fun.

Hopefully that trend continues, but helping Liverpoo's cause puts a sour taste in my mouth.

And yes, I know how to spell Liverpool.

I think it will be a real tough ask. Distin and Jagielka will both still be out and Barry who has been incredible in central midfield can't play against his parent club. I will happily take a draw in this game and a win against Hull to lock down 5th place.

I wouldnt be so sure, Chelsea (Got No History) FC have to play Liverpool at Anfield also before the season is over.

Spoken like a typical liverpoo supporter.

And what is this extensive history that you speak of that makes yous superior to everyone…. Lollll
Is it the 96 that yous crushed to death at Hillsborough?
Or
The 39 that yous crushed to death at Heysel , which infact , 14 of your so called brothers were found guilty of manslaughter and found guilty.
Which in turn led to all English clubs being excluded from all European fixtures for 15 years.
Or is it that liverpoo has NEVER won a EPL title...
WOWWW what a great history.
Why would you even associate yourself with a club like that. I'd be very ashamed, very very ashamed.

After reading what you said about the 96 people killed at Hillsborough leads me to believe you're a classy individual, Crusader. Classy, yet ignorant but classy non the less. As much class as your captain going around screwing his mate's wife, that's the type of person you want captaining you club.

The reason why your club is referred to as Chelsea (Got No History) FC is because since they were founded in 1905 they have won a massive 4 league titles and 1 European cup. With them winning their first league title in the 2004-05 since the 1954-55 season and winning it in 2005-06 and 2009-10 seasons, I suspect you Sir, are what they call in sport, a Bandwagoner!

Yes, since the FA decided to change the name of the league to the English Premier League, Liverpool havent won the title BUT when you have 18 first division titles and you're the only club in England that has the European Cup to keep in your trophy cabinet for ever because you won it 5 times, YES 5 TIMES!!! That's what you call "History"

Before you say I'm a bandwagoner too, I've been following Liverpool since I was 6 years old living in Ashcroft. I was watching them play Everton on a sunday morning on Big League Soccer and I thought they were the local team because Ashcroft is only 5 minutes from Liverpool in Sydney. It wasnt till I was older I realised there was Liverpoool in the UK but by then I was hooked. So my love for Liverpool FC started way back in 1982 not 2005 like some Chelsea bandwagoners.

Pfffft even worse, United. They wont do anything for another 20 years! Enjoy trying to stay in first division

Hanging crap on the Hillsborough disaster is lower than a snakes gut. I'm a United fan and I don't even stoop that low.

We'll be back Chris

I just need to make sure everyone he needs their heart medication has done so

You are all sitting down relaxed ready to be shocked

Stewart Downing scored today

And no it wasn't an own goal

And it was from a dead ball situation

How the ball didn't hit the wall I'll never know

And the scariest thing is this , he actually scored v Tottenham before for Liverpool 😱pen_mouth:

And West Ham won ,and we have avoided relegation again

City come from a goal down to win at Goodison 3-2\. Can't accuse Everton of throwing the match to hurt Liverpool after another cracker from Barkley, but that's probably the title done and dusted. I can't see City dropping points to Villa or West Ham at home.

MM West Ham have played City three times this season and I think the result is 13-0 combined

The Hammers won't threaten City , especially seeing we have nothing to play for

I'm careful not to enjoy the misery of others but that is just hilarious.
Particularly in light of how Liverpool fans have roundly been complete knobs this season with their gloating. Even more so after Rodgers moaning after the Chelsea game about their negative tactics. Rather than whinge he should have been taking notes.

It's in the bag for City now. I can't particularly say I enjoy watching them succeed either, but they are definitely the lesser of two evils.

Its been amazing to see both Liverpool and Chelsea self destruct

Games 15 weeks ago where they would of buried the opposition , add some pressure of winning a title and what happens

Can't see anyone stopping City now

You'll Never Whinge Alone - The rampant sulking from all the Liverpool supporters on Facebook has made this even funnier.
