2012-2013 Football (Sokkah) Thread

I know that Fergie is a great coach , but he wouldn't be able to coach Southampton to a league title

Having the best players certainly helps (and an almost limitless money supply)

Limitless money supply? Man U have a ridiculous amount of debt.

And yet still seem to find away to spend $100 million on players every season CB

C'mon mate next thing you will try and tell us they are going to go into administration :unamused:

Lets all feel sorry for Man U (SIGH)

They've certainly got money to spend, but they're not the juggernaut they used to be. Chelsea and Man City have far deeper pockets than United now, thanks to the Glazer family bankrolling their purchase of the club by securing loans against club assets.

The Mariners are giving Sydney FC a bath 7-2 with about 15 minutes to go

Better not give you Sydney fans too much grief ,Hammers have Man City tomorrow morning and we don't have a good record against them

Only just got home from a day out on the course, I taped the game on IQ, but not so sure I want to watch it now, especially since that pig McBreen scored a triple.

United kick off in 90 minutes, hopefully they have a win and dull the pain a little.

Worth watching the replay Happy?

Had to laugh at Di Matteo blaming fatigue on the Chelsea draw to Swansea. Man City only just scraped home against them last week… They're actually a decent side.

With Chelsea and City drawing, Man U are back where they belong: at top of the table.

Pretty grim second half Hammers relied on counter attack CB and defended their butts off , but first half was high quality football which this one eyed Hammers fans thought we had the better of

Bloody line person ,we'd be sitting equal 5th with the 3 points , but it was great to see we can match it with the top sides

Another encouraging performance this morning by Happy's Hammers 1-0 away win over Newcastle

I like many other WHU supporters are pinching ourselves 6 th spot :righton:

Reality is coming though after Stoke this week we have

Spurs A, Man U A, Chelsea H, West Brom H and Liverpool A 😱pen_mouth:

We will know where we stand after that run If we could pull 6-7 points I'd be ecstatic

Crooky resigned from Sydney FC after just a handful of games. Corica (read Del Piero,) will coach in the interim.

CB the story I heard on the radio the Corica only has the job for the next game

Is that correct ??

Depends on how quickly they find someone I guess. Corica is way too green for the role, he's too close to the boys as well which doesn't bode well.

Del Piero should be captain/Coach.

my favourite Del Piero quote upon his arrival here was "the players make the wrong runs"

:roll

Actually CB Avram Grant name has popped up as the next Sydney FC coach

Good luck with that  :unamused:

(Ex Hammers coach )
