Have only got stronger with adding Costa & Fabregas into the squad.

Drogba will be interesting. Will rarely play unless the injuries hit or there's plenty of nuffy PL games while they are on CL duty.

Fabregas is a star, although I wouldn't be surprised if Costa performs like another high profile Spanish striker bought by Chelsea (which may explain the return of Drogba). I think Drogba will mostly play the cup games as well as a few CL group games and other games when the schedule is heavy, although I find it ironic that they brought him back to replace Lukaku, when Lukaku was intended to be the long term replacement for Drogba.

Obviously doesn't fit in with Mourinho-ball.

I'm a massive Leeds United supporter and international member, remember them

Did Cellino successfully take over? Might be what the club needs to return to first division. Were a great club in the nineties, shame they imploded the way that they did.

Yeah he has, he's brought in a couple of players from the Seria A but they were only fringe players in that League and we started the campaign with a 2-0 loss to Millwall already at the Den, his promising to purchase more players.
Fulham have purchased Ross McCormack of us for 11 million pound can you believe that? And they are in the Championship like us, talk about parachute payments you get from the Premier League.
Ken Bates the Burglar stuffed our Club up and Ridsdale they were only in it for themselves.
Cellino has promised the fans that by the end of next season we will be in the Premier League or he has failed misserably as an owner (talk is cheap).
I have experienced Elland Rd and the atmosphere is unbelievable, I went to watch them vs Charlton 3 years ago when we were in League 1 and there was 31,000 fans, they still get good crowds, I've also been to Goodison Park and Old Trafford, put it in your bucket list as things to do.

Next time I head to the UK I am doing Old Trafford if it kills me.

And just for fun - Here's another EPL Fantasy League to test the best!! All Welcome!

Newcastleeeeeeeee

Please survive

Good luck, I watched some of their preseason form and they were worse than atrocious at the back. I have a soft spot for them, but I fail to see how they will not be relegated this year.

My picks for relegation:

- Newcastle
- West Ham (sorry Happy… If you can't beat Sydney FC or Wellington you're in trouble...)
- Sunderland

I reckon Villa will perform a bit better this year (underperformed for their roster last year,) and West Brom have picked up Lescott from Man City. He's pretty reliable at the back and won't let them down.

Season starts today, so what a perfect day for Ross Barkley to blow his knee out. Joins Coleman as the big guns on the injured list, plus Roberto is considering resting Lukaku and Mirallas for the start of the season after their world cup run with Belgium. Could be a slow start, although for us, although it helps us hold onto Ross for the remainder of the transfer window.

Possibly the best thing unknowingly happened to West Ham last week

Kevin Nolan's shoulder

Zarate has transformed this side so far

2-0 to the Hammers , i predicted a Hammers win

Felt so sorry for Jedinak last night

He and Chamouk were the only ones having a dig for CP last night

Stewart Downing goal last night was a ripper also

Get rid of Allardyce and leave Zarate up front and we will be a side to be reckoned with

Allardyce wasn't even happy that they signed Zarate :roll , he adds speed to the middle of the field which is the one thing we have dearly needed

Two games played by my toffees, both ending 2-2, and both are games that we should have iced off by the hour mark. I hope this doesn't bite us come May. On the bright side, we are exactly where we were after 2 games last season. I just hope we learn that we can't defend a lead for an entire half of football.

Go the Toffees

Happy and Cultured Bogan leave your wrists alone this morning, Man U lost to MKdons 4-0 that's right 4-0, and Happy the Hammers lost to Sheffield United in penalty shootout, got done by League 1 side's, welcome to my world folks

Yossarian will be happy , pretty sure he is a big Don's fan

I'm not overly worried about the Sheffield United lost , they have had a massive chip on their shoulders since the Tevezgate situation and my understanding is we have only just finished paying off the $20 odd million fine imposed for that

At least we can solely concentrate on the EPL , the Capitol Cup is a mickey mouse comp anyway

Last season we made the semis , but we struggled during the time the comp ran in the EPL

The 4-0 scoreline is interesting in the Man U v Dons game That is the exact score line West Ham beat Man U by at Old Trafford in a Capitol Cup game in the 2010-2011 season

Yeah I do agree with you there Happy, this competition is more a nuisance than anything. It does allow those not so powerful clubs get deep into the competition cause you can get through on penalty shootout, so the lower League sides can set there teams to get through on penalties and becomes a good money spinner.
Look at Bradford last year they were 90 minutes from getting into Europe when they made the final, imagine that? a League 1 side in Europe, big $$$ for them.
That is how Birmingham got to play in Europa 2 years ago they beat Arsenal in the Carling Cup final 2-1 that same year they got relegated from the EPL, and we're playing in the Europa from the Championship competition.
So there you go other teams outside the EPL can dare to dream, I've been dreaming for 11 years

Capitol one cup is a chance to give the reserves some game time and if you're fortunate enough to be around in the quarters you can have a crack at the silverware. That said, getting toweled by MK Dons is a little worrying, whilst it certainly wasn't a full strength Man U side, they had some pretty highly rated players out there. If it had ended 2-1 it wouldn't be too bad.

That said, now they only have the League and FA Cup to worry about, I expect them to make their move while Champions/Europa League group stages are going on.
