Capitol one cup is a chance to give the reserves some game time and if you're fortunate enough to be around in the quarters you can have a crack at the silverware. That said, getting toweled by MK Dons is a little worrying, whilst it certainly wasn't a full strength Man U side, they had some pretty highly rated players out there. If it had ended 2-1 it wouldn't be too bad.

That said, now they only have the League and FA Cup to worry about, I expect them to make their move while Champions/Europa League group stages are going on.

Still it would be like the wenty magpies rolling souths ! Lol@man-u

Sorry Hobbo , just couldn't resist the chance to twist the knife on the Man U fans ,my old man is a huge Man U fan sick of hearing about Busby's babes and all that junk

I doubt the Capitol Cup is high on Man U 's agenda this season

Are you saying that Man - U tanked the game
My 10 year old son is a big Man-U & an even bigger Tigers fan !
He asked why does every team I love suck ??
I had to have a chuckle !!

I can't help to think there is a bit of ignorance in Van Gal towards the English game , he did not even have Rooney on the bench , is that a sign of cockiness ?
Sorry Marshal but i disagree with giving the Reserves a run for there fitness in this competition ,they do see more game time though . There is an actual Competition for the players that are not featuring in the EPL and there is always behind the scene games that clubs organize with each other to give there Reserves a run.
as i said earlier get ready for the spiral Man U

Ignorance and arrogance IMO . Van gal seems like a window licker if ya ask me . When you play you play to win ! Theirs no prize for second !
Imagine if Man -U got relegated … Just imagine !

100 % correct , he will soon find out the hard way

Sam Allardyce is a complete fool

Why is it instead of pushing for a second once we lead 1-0 he plays negative

Saints should of won 4-1 , even the refs felt sorry for Hammers supporters and disallowed one

Our defending against set pieces was disgraceful

Wonderful weekend being a Tigers supporter ,Collingwood supporter and West Ham supporter

I know that feeling well Happy. I'm a Man City supporter. We were dreadful last night. We played like we didn't really want to score and just wanted the game to end. They remind me of the Tigers sometimes in games where we should be doing a lot more better than we actually do.

I would give anything for Man U to get relegated. That would be the only justice for the scummiest club in the EPL.

I can't really laugh at Man U, they are sitting above Everton at the moment. We have 7 goals scored in 3 games yet we are winless, and our back 4 is supposedly a huge strength of ours.

Don't worry Dazza ,I've worked out

Its the dogs fault

We lead 1-0 and the dog decided to jump up on my lap

Then Saints put on 3

Dog goes in the shed for Hammer games

Now I've just got to work out what in my house is cursing the WT's

Maybe the wife

She's out in the shed for the Sharks game to see if it works

Anyone game to help me ask her to go out to the shed 😱pen_mouth:

If she loves me she will understand :crazy

Great goal from Liverpool Sturridge to Henderson to a lovely tap in from Sterling.
Ballotelli how ever you spell it ? is a hero when he walked out was the last in the line and the players were lined up in the middle of the pitch waiting for him 30 seconds later he joins them my HERO tug tug

Liverpool goals today: 3
Manchester United goals season: 2

Oh yes, relegation for Manchester United is on track.
