2014/2015 EPL season

Looks like he hasn't had it to lose yet Hobbo.

Leaking 4 goals in 21 minutes to any opposition is just not something that a good team does.
You can argue that there were 2 penalty goals amongst that 4\. But if you allow a man into the penalty area with ball at foot the chances of giving away a penalty sky rocket. It invites trouble.

Manchester United is a very poor football team at the moment.

We won't leak so many goals when Shaw is fit. If I'm LVG I'm telling Rojo next time he attempts to hoof at the goal from more than 15 yards out he loses his foot. He is inept at crossing deep as well, When Shaw returns Rojo will move to CB.

Blackett is still learning his trade and Evans and Smalling aren't cut out for it. Hell, you could even move Blind into the other CB role. Herrera was under utilised yesterday to, any time they countered it generally moved down the left with Di Maria which is fair enough as he is fast on the ball but it only ever seemed to go to Herrera as an afterthought. The kid is quality and he did well in Spain playing for Bilbao.

Yes but the no penalty and then the penalty that started the rot was ridiculous Glen , he literally barrels the defender over to win the challenge and then is barely touched when he is re challenged in the box

Clattenburg is Englands No 1 ref  , he is the EPL version of Shayne Hayne

I didn't hear Rooney's comments after the 2nd penalty , but I read that Clattenberg actually considered sending Rooney off as well

I guess when you let go 3 players from your back 3 or 4 go it will cause some problems

Looking forward to the goal fest at Old Trafford next Saturday , just hoping we fall on the right side of it

Rojo is very poor as a wingback. I like Blackett a lot but being young he will have many off days. Yesterday was, for the most part, one of them.

Very poor defending but crikey they look good going forward. Di Maria is all class.

Isn't he what? He looked dangerous every time he had the ball. He skinned De Laet about 3 or 4 times. Speaking of De Laet, I don't know how he didn't cop a second yellow for barrelling Di Maria onto the tarmac.

Di Maria and Falcao will combine well. He lofted some quality ball to Van Persie as well. I just hope Herrera is given the same chance to shine.

Looking forward to Shaw coming in and also watching the development of Blackett. In a team that will cop criticism for winning or losing because of how much it cost to assemble it would be nice if a standout player was a guy we developed from 8 years old.

Man U develop its own ??

Why start now ??

The cost of developing your own is huge

Just buy them when they are good and ready like you have in the past

By the way , what's this story doing the rounds about Ronaldo wanting to finish at Man U ??

Clearly you haven't been paying attention Happy. Man U has always developed it's own first and then shopped for others to fill the gaps.
Take a look at a documentary called "The Class of '92" for example.

Blackett is 20 years old and has been in the United system for 12 years. Hardly starting 'now' is it?

No idea about Ronaldo. I would hazard to guess we only hear what his management wants us to hear.

What I've read is that United have an offer ready to table come the January window for Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has said in the past that he wanted to finish with United.

Januzaj and Jesse Lingard are also Man U juniors, although Januzaj did come from Anderlecht.

I reckon if Kouyate plays and is 100% fit we might beat Man U

Well Glen , you must have a lot of gaps to fill

But to survive in the EPL you have to spend money wisely

Even the Hammers are spending a lot of money for players outside the system

Guessing you won't swap Ravel for a Man U striker ??

Man U can think themselves very lucky over Nolan's disallowed goal

Would of loved to seen a better angle on it

Fish n Chips now I guess

What about Rooney's brain snap ??

Classic Rooney. Brilliance overshadowed by petulance.

Yes, we were lucky Nolan was offside.

Jagielka. What a strike!

If he was offside there was a bee's knee in it

The two angles I have seen of it are from behind the play and you just can't tell as far as I'm concerned from those angles

I thought Nolan was onside, but I don't think the angle we got was the best.

Jagielka though, wow, we desperately need to start winning, although a draw at Anfield is huge considering how poorly we normally perform there.
