I saw it mentioned somewhere he married Ivan's sister but I cannot find any evidence anywhere to confirm this.

His father played for Parramatta though.
He is a disgraceful ref imo and the Howarth try was a try and it was the moment that ruined the game for me.
 
You’d have to be privately fuming if you were Ice. Seems likely they will come back to the pack a touch next year….You’d think?

True, but still isnt any Andrew Johns & never will be. Dosent have the heart. Prediction.... Penrith wont make the grand final next year cos Luia wont be there to cover his AS#! The whole cleary myth will be exposed next year, both with penrith & unfortunately NSW if we are stupid enough to pick the pretender at halfback.

Thanks IVAN for your Bullsh#T imput! He must of had a shoulder injury for most of his career that effects his throat cause he always CHOKES at the big moments & everyone bails him out!

Cleary is a fantastic player albeit incredibly unlikeable.

4 in a row, despite the bunker nonsense is something special.

Maybe Penriths decline will begin next year but Cleary Jnr has been a powerhouse for many years.

Great grand final. Both sides gave it everything.
massive congrats to Penrith, Ivan out coached Bellamy on this one. The tactics wore Melbourne down.
Penrith are an absolute phenomenon. Amazing football team. Amazing culture and amazing club. We could only dream….

Has been a cog in a well drilled machine. Put him in any other team & his supposed super powers will disappear.
