2024 State of Origin Teams

SOO has been a toss since B Fletcher was anointed the future of soo, because he stopped, underline stopped b4 the line twirled and tried to create 2nd hand play.forwards dont stop n pirouette.point being NSWonly win games when we play QLD at their own game, elbows, strong arm n heaps of grubbish hard niggle, its just funny how NSW absorbs it and lose,QLD squeal like stuck pigs n still lose.hahaha

LOL, that's pathetic
I don't know why but QLD for ever since I can recall have this insecurity where they have to be better than anyone else in the country.
I think it may have started with origin... But we see it in all facets of life now... Natural disasters, politics, geography sport etc.
For them to use Aussie Olympians... Calling them Maroons when they're green & golds, clutching for anything counting how many we have per state is yet another insecure exhibition from our northern friends
I find it very immature and highly amusing... Very much like a younger sibling always in competition with his older faster stronger smarter bro... He and
queenslander can't handle it when they're brought down a peg.
I Iove our northern neighbours... Don't ever change 😊

QLD missing a fair few:
Munster, Ponga, Coates, Taulagi, Tino, Flegler, Brimson, Hopgood & Arrow.

They had zero creative spark, DCE looked sluggish - Sam Walker keeps playing well might put pressure next year on DCE.

Did think Slater stuffed up not picking Sua or Fafita given the lack of punch in the forwards.

NSW were great speed, energy levels and form players were the difference.
Must say how impressive Dearden was in a tough game. Plenty of ticker for a small man.

Haumole Olakau'atu has been evicted from Suncorp Stadium after he became involved in a fiery melee during game three.

Olakau'atu, who was not part of the NSW game day squad, was captured on Nine's coverage grabbing Valentine Holmes after a brawl erupted and spilled over the sideline. He was wearing a suit at the time.

As first reported by The Sydney Morning Herald, the NRL banished him from the sideline with the second-rower forced to spend the rest of the game in the dressing room or coach's box.

Felice Kaufusi played just 16 minutes?
Very odd
So many late changes I thing Slater confused himself
Whilst Slater was obviously hoping for a few of his trademark hits, Felice wasn’t up for it, hence his departure.
Other thing was the NSW captain didn’t get a lot of game time, again, and yet Yeoh , who I thought played well, virtually replicated a Jake type game.
Would love to hear more about that decision. Anyway I’m splitting hairs here but just wondering.

Where do you put Walsh? He's looking a bit fragile, not a usual QLD rep
I don’t think he’s ready.
NSW clearly targeted him, as was expected, and he didn’t perform.
When that kid plays free flowing footy, he is a machine. Lately the pressure on him for Broncs and the Maroons has seen his game shrink into itself.
He is not in the top echelon of players. Not yet.
