Recent reports suggest that Bula might not be ready for round 1.
Was a surprise to me and I hope that is not correct.

Only thing holding back Mason is the high ball if you want to be fullback you need to master it when he let the ball bounce at times last season I leapt from my coach and hid behind it scared to watch.Interesting to see who would get the nod at fullback if Bula is not able to start. If it's Mason, I really hope he has been on the the receiving end of bomb after bomb at training.
My general impression of Turuva is that he is pretty safe under the high ball.
He's very young. Why do you think he needs to master a spot soon?Mason needs to find a spot to master soon. He would make a good utility but we have TDS and Latu that are ahead of him of that role in 2025.
The importance of utilities has increased most of those are able to fill in at lock and hooker. I don’t think Mason is going to be big enough to play in the forwards (might wrong if he continues to grow). So he already has players like Bird, Latu and TDS ahead of him for that role. He’s about 4th in line for the bench utility role. As he has already tasted NRL and there are too many utilities I think he is best trying to pick a backline position and develop his skills in SC in 2025. So if an opportunity arises in NRL he is ready to go. Penrith seem to have ready made NRL players when an injury or someone leaves. He's very young. Why do you think he needs to master a spot soon?
Okay. I reckon the club would have already done this with him last year and they've got him training in those positions already. The importance of utilities has increased most of those are able to fill in at lock and hooker.
