Orange and black with a hint of purple reminds me of the Sydney Tigers jersey used in the late 90s. If the merge hadn't of occurred I imagine Balmain trying it again in the new material and being very much like the one on the left. The one on the right looks like we've merged with Melbourne. No deal I say 🙂

That was my thought too, it looks like a modern take on Sydney Tigers with the purple stripe.

Or that Wests and Storm had an ugly child.
